Naasón Joaquín García, the top spiritual leader of La Luz del Mundo Church, is being held in Los Angeles for sexual abuse and child pornography, among other charges. This “Aquí y Ahora” and Univision Investiga special presents never heard testimonies of former members of the church who have broken the code of silence to unmask allegations of sexual exploitation, labor, and submission. Members who also weigh on the leaders of the congregation in both the U.S and Mexico. The special takes a look into the destination of the donations and the luxurious lifestyle of the apostle and his family. The Univision Investiga team also reveals an underground network of tunnels and chambers below the main Church’s temple in Guadalajara.
