“Premio Lo Nuestro” Expands its Roster of Superstars Adding More than a Dozen A-List Performers to this Year’s Celebration
The Unforgettable Night Will Include a World Premiere by Global Star Luis Fonsi and a Spectacular and Heartfelt Musical by Alejandra Guzman, Lila Downs and Yuri

MIAMI – FEBRUARY 11, 2021 – Continuing with the preparations for “Premio Lo Nuestro’s” celebration of hope, resilience, and music, Univision revealed today the names of more than a dozen superstars who will join the previously announced performers roster. The 33rd edition of the longest-running Latin music awards show in the U.S. will feature world premieres, unique versions of chart-topping hits, and memorable musical tributes to Latin music legends. “Premio Lo Nuestro” will air LIVE next Thursday, February 18, starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 CT) with the pre-show “Noche de Estrellas” on Univision.
Showcasing the diversity in Latin music, the superstars who have joined the “Premio Lo Nuestro” represent distinct music genres and will deliver unique performances fans won’t see anywhere; they include:
- To celebrate the late Armando Manzanero’s music, the acclaimed singer-songwriter Lila Downs; the queen of rock Alejandra Guzmán; and the celebrated singer and actress, and one of this year’s hosts, Yuri (2 nominations), will perform some of Manzanero’s iconic romantic songs. The virtuoso Arthur Hanlon will play the piano during the memorable number.
- A cross-genre collaboration honoring beloved Mexican cumbia band Los Ángeles Azules, this year’s recipients of “Premio al Legado Musical” (Musical Legacy Award), by regional Mexican star Chiquis (2 nominations), popular rock band Kinky, and pop superstar Gloria Trevi, who will also receive the “Premio a la Trayectoria” (Trajectory Award).
- Reggaeton queen Ivy Queen (1 nomination) will put everyone to dance in one of the hottest moments of the night.
- Reggaeton rising star El Alfa and legends of reggaeton legends Zion & Lennox (1 nomination) will perform on stage their popular song “Gota Gota.”
- Regional Mexican singer-songwriter Joss Favela (2 nominations) and rising star Jessi Uribe will perform for the first time on stage their hit collaboration “El Alumno.”
- The world-premiere of global star Luis Fonsi’s (3 nominations) newest single.
- A special performance by salsa legend Victor Manuelle.
- Reggaeton newest hitmaker and songwriter Justin Quiles will perform a medley of two of his chart-topping songs, “Jeans” and “PAM.”
As previously announced, global superstar, actress, and social activist Selena Gómez will make her “Premio Lo Nuestro” debut performing with urban phenomenon Rauw Alejandro, a unique version of their hit collaboration “Baila Conmigo.” The show will also feature a vibrant musical number to celebrate this year’s “Premio a la Excelencia” (Excellence Award) honoree Wisin for his successful career of 18 years.
Hosting the three-hour ceremony will be Chiquinquirá Delgado, Jose Ron, and Yuri. Gabriel Coronel, Raúl de Molina, and Dayanara Torres will host the one-hour pre-show “Noche de Estrellas,” with special participation by Tony Dandrades, Jomari Goyso and Clarissa Molina, who will also bring special segments from backstage during the main show.

MIAMI –11 DE FEBRERO DE 2021– Continuando con los preparativos para la celebración de la esperanza, resiliencia y música de “Premio Lo Nuestro”, Univision reveló hoy los nombres de más de una docena de superestrellas que se unirán a los artistas ya anunciados. La 33ª edición del programa de más larga trayectoria de premios a la música latina en Estados Unidos incluirá estrenos mundiales, versiones únicas de éxitos en las listas de popularidad y memorables homenajes musicales a legendarios artistas latinos. “Premio Lo Nuestro” se trasmitirá EN VIVO el próximo jueves, 18 de febrero a partir de las 7 p.m. Este/Pacífico (6 Centro) con el show de antesala “Noche de Estrellas” por Univision.
Las superestrellas que se han sumado a “Premio Lo Nuestro”, quienes mostrarán la diversidad en la música latina, representan diferentes géneros musicales y ofrecerán actuaciones singulares que los fans no verán en ninguna otra parte, entre ellas:
- Para celebrar la música del fallecido Armando Manzanero, la aclamada cantautora Lila Downs; la reina del rockAlejandra Guzmán; y la celebrada cantante y actriz Yuri, una de las conductoras de este año (2 nominaciones), entonarán algunas de las emblemáticas canciones románticas de Manzanero. El virtuoso Arthur Hanlon tocará el piano durante el memorable número.
- Un colaboración en diversos géneros en homenaje a la popular banda mexicana de cumbia Los Ángeles Azules, ganadores del “Premio al Legado Musical” de este año: la estrella de la música regional mexicana Chiquis (2 nominaciones), el popular grupo de rock Kinky y la superestrella del pop Gloria Trevi, quien también recibirá el “Premio a la Trayectoria”.
- La reina del reguetón Ivy Queen (1 nominación) hará que todos se pongan a bailar en uno de los mejores momentos de la noche.
- El Alfa, un nuevo rostro en el reguetón, y los legendarios reguetoneros Zion & Lennox (1 nominación) presentarán en el escenario su popular canción “Gota Gota”.
- El cantautor de música regional mexicana Joss Favela (2 nominaciones) y la nueva estrella Jessi Uribe interpretarán por primera vez en el escenario su exitosa colaboración, “El Alumno”.
- La estrella internacional Luis Fonsi (3 nominaciones) estrenará a nivel mundial su más reciente single.
- La leyenda de la salsa Victor Manuelle tendrá un acto especial.
- Justin Quiles, el más reciente y exitoso compositor de reguetón, ofrecerá un popurrí de dos de sus sonadas canciones, “Jeans” y “PAM”.
Como se anunció anteriormente, Selena Gómez, superestrella internacional, actriz y activista social, hará su debut en “Premio Lo Nuestro” con el fenómeno de la música urbana Rauw Alejandro, con una original versión de su exitosa colaboración “Baila Conmigo”. El show también incluirá un dinámico número musical para celebrar al ganador del “Premio a la Excelencia” de este año, Wisin, por su exitosa carrera de 18 años.
Serán los conductores de la ceremonia de tres horas Chiquinquirá Delgado, José Ron y Yuri. Gabriel Coronel, Raúl de Molina y Dayanara Torres estarán a cargo del programa de antesala de una hora, “Noche de Estrellas”, con la participación especial de Tony Dandrades, Jomari Goyso y Clarissa Molina, quien también ofrecerán segmentos especiales desde detrás del escenario durante el espectáculo principal.
