MIAMI – FEBRUARY 5, 2020 – Celebrating Latin Music and its diversity, Univision announced today more global superstars to perform on Premio Lo Nuestro (PLN) 2020. The star-studded lineup, a true representation of Latin Music and its diverse genres, will be performing in the first Latin Music celebration of the decade on Thursday, February 20, 2020. The night will begin with the pre-show “Noche de Estrellas,” which will include musical performances and coverage from the Magenta Carpet as the artists and stars arrive.
This year’s PLN 2020 celebrates the growth of Latin music on a global level and has created the new “Legacy/Legado” award to validate, honor and recognize those who uphold, maintain and grow our Latin music, culture, traditions and values worldwide. The first recipient is renowned singer Alejandro Fernandez for his contribution to Mexican Mariachi music. Fernández, who has sold more than 30 million records and published 23 albums, returns to his Mariachi roots for an unforgettable world TV premiere of his single “Te Olvidé.”
The new list of artists set to perform in the 32nd edition of Premio Lo Nuestro are:
- American singer and PLN nominee – Urban, Becky G; Mexican singer and PLN nominee Carlos Rivera and Puerto Rican singer and composer Pedro Capó, nominated for 4 PLN Awards; will perform their latest collaboration “Perdiendo la Cabeza.”
- Colombian singer Greeicy will perform for the first-time at PLN and will bring the rhythms of her latest single “Aguardiente.”
- Venezuelan singers and PLN nominees Mau y Ricky are set to hit the stage along with Thalía and perform their new single “Ya Tú Me Conoces.”
- Dominican urban artist Natti Natasha, with 6 nominations this year, will bring her unique sound performing one of her latest singles.
- Popular urban singer and songwriter Nicky Jam returns to PLN with 5 nominations and will take the stage along with Daddy Yankee to perform their latest hit “Muévelo.”
- Colombian urban singer Reykon will present the world premiere of a new, unreleased version of his latest single “Perriando” alongside legendary salsa musician Willie Colón.
- Venezuelan pop/ballad legend Ricardo Montaner, and now a nominee, will bring his unique voice with his latest single “Te Adoraré.”
- Puerto Rican superstar and 10 times PLN winner Ricky Martin will conquer the stage with his new power ballad “Tiburones.”
- Puerto Rican popular urban duo Zion & Lennox will bring their reggaeton flow to the PLN stage.
As part of the “Noche de Estrellas” pre-show on the Magenta Carpet, “Reina de la Canción” winner and developing artist Yennis will attend PLN for her first time, performing her latest single “De Tu Cama Pa’ Mi Cama.”
In addition, singers and nominees Bronco, Christian Nodal and Sofía Reyes; actors Jaime Camil and Sandra Echeverría; TV personality Galilea Montijo, and Univision News anchor Ilia Calderón are confirmed to be part of the celebration presenting the awards to the night’s winners.
This year’s “Premio Lo Nuestro” is hosted, for the first time ever, by two global ambassadors and superstars of Latin music, Pitbull and Thalía, alongside one of Univision’s most beloved personalities, Alejandra Espinoza.
Artists previously announced to perform are Cazzu, Chiquis, CNCO, Daddy Yankee, David Bisbal, Gerardo Ortiz, Reik, Prince Royce, Thalía, and Manuel Turizo. J Balvin will receive the special Global Icon award (Ícono Mundial) and will perform his latest singles in a unique PLN medley.
Premio Lo Nuestro’s nominations honor airplay on Uforia radio during the eligibility period of Jan. 1 through Oct. 31, 2019. The winners have been selected by the fans during the voting period on PremioLoNuestro.com.

MIAMI –5 DE FEBRERO DE 2020– Como parte de la celebración de la música latina y su diversidad, Univision anunció hoy a las superestrellas mundiales adicionales que se presentarán en Premio Lo Nuestro (PLN) 2020. El estelar grupo, representativo de la música latina y sus diversos géneros, tomará parte en la primera celebración de la música latina de la década el jueves, 20 de febrero de 2020. La velada empezará con el programa de antesala “Noche de Estrellas”, que incluirá actuaciones musicales y cobertura desde la alfombra magenta de la llegada de los artistas y las estrellas.
PLN 2020 celebrará este año la popularidad cada vez mayor de la música latina a nivel internacional y ha creado un nuevo premio, “Legado”, para validar, rendir homenaje y otorgar reconocimiento a quienes abanderan, conservan y diseminan nuestras tradiciones, música, cultura y valores latinos en todo el mundo. El primer galardonado será el reconocido cantante Alejandro Fernández por sus aportes a la música mariachi mexicana. Fernández, quien ha vendido más de 30 millones de álbumes y publicado 23, regresa a sus raíces de mariachi para un inolvidable estreno mundial por televisión de su canción “Te olvidé”.
En la nueva lista de artistas que tienen programado presentarse en la 32a edición de Premio Lo Nuestro están:
- La cantante mexicanoamericana Becky G, nominada este año; el cantante mexicanoamericano Carlos Rivera, nominado a PLN; y el cantautor puertorriqueño Pedro Capó, nominado a 4 PLN; presentarán su más reciente colaboración, “Perdiendo la cabeza”.
- La cantante colombiana Greeicy, se presentará por primera vez en PLN y aportará el ritmo de su más reciente single, “Aguardiente”.

- La artista dominicana de música urbana Natti Natasha, con 6 nominaciones este año, quien brindará su particular sonido y entonará una de sus más recientes canciones.
- El popular cantautor de música urbana Nicky Jam, volverá a PLN con 5 nominaciones y presentará con Daddy Yankee su más reciente éxito, “Muévelo”.
- El cantante colombiano de música urbana Reykon, ofrecerá en PLN 2020 el estreno mundial de una versión de su más reciente sencillo, “Perriando”, con el reconocido salsero Willie Colón.
- La leyenda venezolana de pop/balada Ricardo Montaner, y ahora nominado, traerá su voz con su más reciente sencillo “Te Adoraré”.
- La superestrella puertorriqueña Ricky Martin, ganador de 10 premios PLN, conquistará el escenario con su nueva balada “Tiburones”.
- El popular dúo puertorriqueño de música urbana Zion & Lennox, que llevará su onda reguetonera al escenario de PLN.
Como parte del programa de antesala “Noche de Estrellas” en la alfombra magenta, la nueva artista Yennis, ganadora de “Reina de la Canción”, acudirá a PLN por primera vez e interpretará su más reciente canción, “De tu cama pa’ mi cama”.
Además los cantantes y nominados Bronco, Christian Nodal y Sofía Reyes, los actores Jaime Camil y Sandra Echeverría, la personalidad de televisión Galilea Montijo, y la presentadora de Univision Noticias Ilia Calderón tomarán parte en la celebración al entregar premios a los ganadores de la noche.
Este año conducirán “Premio Lo Nuestro” dos embajadores internacionales y superestrellas de la música latina, Pitbull y Thalía, junto con una de las más populares personalidades de Univision, Alejandra Espinoza.
