Univision Ranks as No. 1 Spanish-Language Network for the Third Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Beats NBC and CBS on Saturday and ABC on Sunday Thanks to Liga MX Soccer, Including Highest Rated Match of the Season

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 20, 2017 to November 26, 2017

For the third consecutive week Univision ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-language network, securing double-digit percentage advantages with Total Viewers 2+ (+20%) and Adults 18-34 (+14%), and beating its closest competitor by +9% among Adults 18-49.

  • In the current season-to-date, Univision is the leading Spanish-language network with Total Viewers 2+.

Univision finished the November 2017 Sweeps as the No. 1 Spanish-language network in primetime among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.

  • November 2017 Sweeps marks fourth consecutive sweeps period that Univision places first on Spanish-language TV among Adults 18-49.
  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on one out of every two nights among Adults 18-34 (14 out of 28 nights or 50% of the time).

Sunday night’s Liga MX quarterfinal match between América and Cruz Azul helped Univision rank No. 4 for the night, attracting more Adults 18-34 than ABC (+7%). The 9pm matchup delivered 1.3 million Adults 18-49, making it the top-rated Liga MX match this season and the fourth highest Quarterfinal match of all time.

Univision was also the fifth largest broadcast network overall for the third consecutive week with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four out of seven nights this past week among Adults 18-34.

Univision was the No. 1 Spanish-language network during the weekday 8pm hour for the fifth consecutive week, reporting double-digit advantages over its closest competitor with Total Viewers 2+ (+71%) Adults 18-49 (+53%) and Adults 18-34 (+77%).

  • Airing Monday-Friday at 8pm, “Rosa de Guadalupe” attracted 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 613,000 Adults 18-49 and 297,000 Adults 18-34.

On Saturday night, Univision out-delivered both NBC (+46%) and CBS (+13%), ranking as the No. 3 network with Adults 18-34. Helping Univision’s ranking for the night, the 8pm Liga MX match between Tigres UANL and León attracted 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 717,000 Adults 18-49 and 329,000 Adults 18-34.
