Amanda Ramírez is saying good-bye to Atlanta to return home to Puerto Rico.
The Univision Atlanta anchor and executive producer will join the “Edición Digital – Puerto Rico” news team at Univision WOLE as a multimedia journalist. She’ll be reporting for the live daily broadcasts at 4 and 10 pm.
Ramírez will also serve as the Puerto Rico-based correspondent for Univision’s local stations across the United States.
Her last day at Univision Atlanta is Friday, August 16. She starts the new job on September 2.
Ramírez has worked at Univision Atlanta since 2011, when the station started daily half-hour newscasts. She previously spent six years at Univision Miami as a reporter.
“Edición Digital – Puerto Rico” also airs in Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Raleigh, New York, Chicago, Boston, and Springfield, MA.
