Radio Ink: It’s All About Overcoming Adversity

Sep 18, 2018

Model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez and Univision Communications debut In Our Words, a podcast about overcoming adversity. This weekly podcast features stories impacting society; testimonials of survivors, their personal experiences, and the different ways in which each of them was pushed to the limit. In each episode a featured guest will speak up, creating awareness for listeners and a support community for those that might be going through similar situations.

“As a survivor, this podcast is about giving men and women the opportunity to speak out about the challenges they’ve faced in their lives and the tools they’ve used to overcome hardship,” said Gutierrez. “I’m honored to be working with Univision to create a safe space for my guests and to discuss the different themes that affect our society nowadays. I know firsthand it takes great bravery and strength to reclaim your voice, and together, our voices will not only unite us, but will inspire change.”

“We are proud to launch In Our Words with Ambra, a podcast series that can better serve and empower our community by giving them access to impactful, original content,” said Stephen Hobbs, Vice President of Development Initiatives at UCI. “The partnership illustrates the power and scale of Univision’s platform to amplify the voices and content we know our listeners want.”

In Our Words is available now and free to listen to on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and other podcast platforms. New episodes are available every Monday and listeners can look forward to hearing from featured guests including; Sara Ziff, Roslyn Hart, Jonathan Kaiman, Ronan Farrow, Rosanna Arquette, Vinny Guadagnino, Sidney Torres and many more.

• Podcast Episode #2: A cause close to my heart: There is a dark reality behind the scenes of the runway.
