Eric García left his position as SBS Radio Revenue Chief and VP/GM of SBS’ WSKQ & WPAT in New York last week, immediately joining Univision Radio.
He is now Director of Radio Sales for Univision New York, leading sales for WXNY-FM La X 96.3, WQBU-FM Qué Buena 92.7 and WADO Univision Deportes Radio AM 1280.
García continues to be based in New York and will report to Antonio Román, SVP of Local Media Sales for Univision New York.
García joined SBS as an account executive in July of 2004 and worked his way up the management ranks. He was promoted to his most recent role of Revenue Chief and GM in 2014.
Upon his departure from SBS, the company named COO Albert Rodríguez interim GM of the NY stations. Elizabeth “Liz” Paulino was promoted to General Sales Manager of WSKQ-FM Mega 97.9FM, WPAT-FM AMOR 93.1FM.
