Bridging cultural & generational gaps, the 30th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina will be one for the books.

Premio Lo Nuestro 2018 will honor music legends and the new-school cadre of chart-toppers, Univision Network announced on Tuesday (Jan. 23). The 30th annual awards show will air live from Miami’s American Airlines Arena and will pay tribute to some of our icons, in addition to spotlighting the leading voices of today and tomorrow.

Univision’s longest-running show is switching things up this year in that it will not nominate but celebrate the greatest Latin artists of all time. The gala sets out to re-create historical moments and pay homage to the legacy of Latino music across three decades, while exalting today’s new generation of talent making history across all genres.

Internationally acclaimed artists Olga Tañon and Romeo Santos, along with new wave pioneers Bad Bunny, Ozuna and Victoria La Mala, have already been confirmed to take the stage at the unprecedented affair.

“The 30th edition of ‘Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina’ will be a musical journey along the evolution of ‘lo nuestro’ and the role our music has had over the last 30 years,” said Jorge ‘Pepo’ Ferradas, Univision president of Music, in a statement. “PLN will be a night to celebrate the music of the past, the present and the future.”

Premios Lo Nuestro 2018 will broadcast live starting at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 22, 2018, on the Univision Network and via streaming on Univision NOW. Fans can find tickets at PremioLoNuestro.com and TicketMaster.com.
