Fusion expanded its video offerings this week by launching the Watch Fusion app on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. The app will include an authenticated livestream of the Fusion network and additional on-demand content to current Fusion subscribers.
In case you’re wondering who they are, according to a recent report from Beta Research, Fusion is ranked third for “perceived value” among its subscribers 18-49. In addition, 72 percent of its digital audience is also in the 18-34 range. According to comScore, that outranks similar news networks like BuzzFeed and Vox, which count 56 percent and 43 percent of their audience in that demographic, respectively. Fusion CEO Isaac Lee said in a statement that they’re excited to keep expanding their scope:
Our aim is to deliver a FUSION-branded experience everywhere our young, connected audience is consuming content. We’re thrilled that with [this launch] multicultural millennials will have a new way to access our content.
The app is available this week in the Amazon Fire TV Channel Store.
