Italian Superstar Laura Pausini to Deliver a Historic Performance from Rome
Pre-show “Noche de Estrellas” Will Set the Tone for the Night with Exclusive Interviews, Fashion, and Upbeat Performances by Emerging Artists
MIAMI – FEBRUARY 15, 2022 – “Premio Lo Nuestro” announced today more star power to its impressive 2022 roster bringing additional Latin music legends and top artists to the celebration. The year’s first major music award show will kick off with “Noche de Estrellas,” the popular pre-show featuring upbeat numbers by rising stars that will set the tone for the night. “Noche de Estrellas” will air LIVE from the FTX Arena in Miami on February 24 at 7 p.m. / 6 CT.
The stars joining Latin music’s longest-running awards show are:
- The sensational Anitta and urban star Justin Quiles will premiere on TV the remix version of “Envolver.” The Brazilian star will also perform her song “No Chão Novinha” for the first time on TV. Anitta has 2 nominations and Justin Quiles 4.
- Urban artists Chimbala and El Alfa will perform with urban superstar Natti Natasha the world premiere of their collab. Chimbala has 1 nomination, El Alfa 5, and Natti Natasha 7.
- Regional Mexican star El Fantasma will perform with a genre’s legend, Pepe Aguilar, the TV premiere of “Tus Desprecios.” El Fantasma, who has 6 nominations, will also perform for the first time on TV “Soy Buen Amigo.”
- Elvis Martinez, the bachata star, will perform with fan-favorite artist Prince Royce the song “Veterana.”
- Salsa legend Gilberto Santa Rosa will perform a special rendition of his iconic song “Conteo Regresivo” with the beloved actress, singer, and this year’s “Premio Lo Nuestro” host Yuri. Gilberto Santa Rosa has 1 nomination.
- Latin sensation Manuel Turizo will perform “Vacaciones” with hitmaker Luis Fonsi. Luis Fonsi has 4 nominations and Manuel Turizo has 2.
- Emerging star Ovi will join Gente de Zona to perform their collab “Qué Locura.” Gente de Zona has 1 nomination.
- The popular DJ IAmChino will light up the stage with the world premiere of “Discoteca,” featuring global icon Pitbull and IAmChino and Deorro have 1 nomination each.
Additionally, “Premio Lo Nuestro” recently announced a historic number featuring the charismatic Italian superstar Laura Pausini performing her newest single “Caja” from Rome, the Eternal City.
“Despierta América” host Francisca, “El Gordo y La Flaca” host Raúl de Molina, “Primer Impacto” and “Edición Digital” anchor Borja Voces, and “Mi Fortuna es Amarte” actor David Zepeda will host “Noche de Estrellas” and bring fans all the action from the magenta carpet. They will be joined by “El Gordo y La Flaca” co-host Clarissa Molina and “Despierta America” co-host Jomari Goyso. The musical numbers during the show include Emilia and Duki and their hit “Como Si No Importara” and the TV premiere of “Restart,” a hit collaboration by VF7, Lele Pons, and Ninow y Candy.
Univision’s beloved personality and actress Alejandra Espinoza, famous actress and singer Yuri, and heartthrob actor Gabriel Soto will host “Premio Lo Nuestro.” “El Gordo y La Flaca” correspondent Roberto Hernandez will bring the latest from backstage during the three-hour broadcast.
Previously announced performers include Ángela Aguilar, Christian Nodal, CNCO, Gente de Zona, Jay Wheeler, Luis Fonsi, Natti Natasha, Olga Tañón, Prince Royce, Sebastián Yatra, Sting, and Wisin y Yandel, among others.
Tickets to the 34th edition of “Premio Lo Nuestro” are available on PremioLoNuestro.com. All ticket holders must show proof of negative Covid-19 PCR test (within 48 hours of the event), or in the alternative, show proof of full vaccination against Covid-19.

MIAMI –15 DE FEBRERO DE 2022– “Premio Lo Nuestro” anunció hoy a más superestrellas para su gran celebración, con más leyendas de la música y destacados artistas uniéndose al imperdible espectáculo este 2022. El primer gran programa de premios a la música del año empezará con “Noche de Estrellas”, el popular show de antesala con números por estrellas emergentes que marcarán la pauta para la noche. “Noche de Estrellas” se trasmitirá EN VIVO el 24 de febrero a las 7 p.m. / 6 Centro desde FTX Arena en Miami.
Las estrellas que se sumarán al programa de premios a la música latina de más larga trayectoria son:
