UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 1, 2021 to March 7, 2021
- UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly primetime performance in the current 2020/2021 season with week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 622,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% to 277,000) and attracted an average audience of 107,000 Adults 18-34. This marks the second consecutive week of primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+. UniMás also averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 622,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% to 277,000) versus the comparable week in 2020.
- UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire week during primetime among Total Viewer 2+ (+9% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+66% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+98% adv.). This marked the 24th consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season that UniMás bested The CW by double-digit margins among the Adult 18-49 and Adult 18-34 demographics.
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. live matchmaking reality show, “Enamorándonos” delivered week-over-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 777,000), Adults 18-49 (+25% to 329,000) and Adults 18-34 (+6% to 133,000), marking its highest-rated weekly performance since its September 2020 return with Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49. The show delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 777,000) to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period versus the comparable week in 2020. The program also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%), Adults 18-49 (+19%) and Adults 18-34 (+10%).
- UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” outperformed The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+22% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+77% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+142% adv.). UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo’s 7 p.m. reality competition series, “Exatlón Estados Unidos” by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+12% adv.) for the entire week. “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of CBS on Monday night among Adults 18-34 (+9% adv.) in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot. “Enamorándonos” also topped NBC on Thursday (+21% adv.) and Friday night (+9% adv.) with Adult 18-34 viewers in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period.
- UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. reality competition, “Desafío Súper Regiones” delivered 410,000 Total Viewers 2+, 229,000 Adults 18-49 and 87,000 Adults 18-34, marking its highest-rated weekly performance in its run thus far. The show attracted week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 410,000), Adults 18-49 (+34% to 229,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 87,000), marking the fourth and third consecutive week of audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34, respectively. In fact, for the second consecutive Tuesday night, the program outperformed ABC (+6% adv.) among Adults 18-34. The program also delivered double-digit audience growth to network’s Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 410,000), Adults 18-49 (+36% to 229,000) and Adults 18-34 (+16% to 87,000).
- On Wednesday night, live coverage of back-to-back Liga MX matches (Querétaro vs. Guadalajara & Cruz Azul vs. Mazatlán) delivered an average audience of 479,000 Total Viewers 2+, 221,000 Adults 18-49 and 76,000 Adults 18-34. The games delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 7:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 479,000) and Adults 18-49 (+22% to 221,000). The soccer matches also increased the network’s time slot versus the comparable night in 2020 among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 479,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% to 221,000).
- Saturday night’s movie line-up including, (“CineNight: Four Brothers” and “CineNight: Bait”) made UniMás a top-rated network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS (+31% adv.), FOX (+9% adv.) and Telemundo (+9% adv.). This marked the fourth straight Saturday night that UniMás outperformed CBS and FOX and the second consecutive Saturday night that UniMás out-delivered Telemundo with Adults 18-34. UniMás also bested FOX (+7% adv.) and Telemundo (+13% adv.) among Adults 18-49, marking the fifth and second consecutive Saturday night that UniMás topped FOX and Telemundo, respectively. The movie line-up increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 524,000). The line-up also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+29% to 524,000) and Adults 18-49 (+23% to 227,000).
- On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+70% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+151% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+118% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Elephant White” and “CineMás: Undisputed III: Redemption”). This marked the 27th straight Sunday night that UniMás has outperformed The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the fifth consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 622,000).
- UniMás delivered 2x more Total Viewers 2+ (+178% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+230% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+174% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime.
