UniMás Averages Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in Current 2020/2021 Season Among A18-49 and A18-34

“Enamorándonos” and “Desafío Súper Regiones” Reality Series Deliver Top Rated Weekly Performances of the Season

 Liga MX Soccer Action Positions UniMás Ahead of NBC, FOX, Telemundo and The CW on Sunday Night Among Adults 18-34, Outperforms NBC and Telemundo for Third and Second Consecutive Sunday Night, Respectively

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of February 15, 2021 to February 21, 2021

 

  • UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly primetime performance in the current 2020/2021 season with week-over-week audience growth among Adults 18-49 (+2% to 260,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 112,000) and attracted an average audience of 570,000 Total Viewers 2+. This marks the third consecutive week of primetime audience growth among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • UniMás outperformed The CW with double-to-triple digit audience advantages during primetime for the 22nd consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+53% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+124% adv.).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” averaged its highest-rated weekly performance since its September 2020 return with double-digit week-over-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+18% to 731,000) Adults 18-49 (+30% to 315,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% to 133,000). The program also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+15%), Adults 18-49 (+19%) and Adults 18-34 (+16%).
    • UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” out-delivered The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+75% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+151% adv.). On Friday night, UniMás outperformed NBC (+21% adv.) in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot and out-delivered Telemundo (+13% adv.) in the 8 p.m. hour by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34. UniMás also topped FOX in the 9 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34 (+9% adv.) on Tuesday night. “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of ABC for the fourth consecutive Wednesday night during the 9 p.m. hour with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 (+15% adv.).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. reality competition series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” delivered its highest-rated weekly performance in its run thus far and averaged double-digit week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 348,000), Adults 18-49 (+30% to 177,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% to 67,000). The series also grew the network’s 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 348,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% to 177,000).
  • Driven by the Liga MX soccer match between Tigres UANL and Club Tijuana, UniMás finished ahead of NBC, FOX and Telemundo among Adults 18-34 on Sunday night. This marks the third and second consecutive Sunday night that UniMás topped NBC and Telemundo, respectively among Adults 18-34. UniMás also out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 for the entire night. This marked the 25th straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the third consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+. UniMás’ live coverage of the “Liga MX: Tigres UANL vs. Club Tijuana” game averaged 756,000 Total Viewers 2+, 405,000 Adults 18-49 and 190,000 Adults 18-34. The showdown increased the network’s 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Adults 18-49 (+7% to 405,000) and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 190,000). The match also increased the time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 756,000), Adults 18-49 (+22% to 405,000) and Adults 18-34 (+23% to 190,000). Following, the special movie presentation of “CineMás: Rise of the Planet of the Apes” attracted 467,000 Total Viewers 2+, 234,000 Adults 18-49 and 90,000 Adults 18-34. The film delivered audience gains to the network’s 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 467,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% to 234,000).
  • On Thursday night, the special movie presentation of “Cineplex: Command Performance” attracted 289,000 Total Viewers 2+, 130,000 Adults 18-49 and 67,000 Adults 18-34. The film positioned UniMás ahead of The CW among Adults 18-34 (+5% adv.) during the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period. The movie also increased its audience by double-to-triple digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+28%), Adults 18-49 (+62%) and Adults 18-34 (+162%).
  • For the second consecutive Saturday night, UniMás topped CBS (+14% adv.) and FOX (+88% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” and “CineNight: The Day After Tomorrow”). UniMás also outperformed FOX (+6% adv.) among Adults 18-49, marking the third consecutive Saturday night that UniMás out-delivered FOX among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+120% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+155% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+129% adv.).
