UniMás Delivers Week-Over-Week Primetime Audience Growth Across All Key Demos

UniMás Outperforms NBC, FOX and The CW By Double-to-Triple Digit Margins on Sunday Night Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Reality Series, “Enamorándonos” and “Desafío Súper Regiones” Positions UniMás ahead of NBC and CBS on Tuesday and Thursday Night, Respectively Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of February 1, 2021 to February 7, 2021

  • UniMás delivered primetime audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 514,000), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 230,000) and Adults 18-34 (+4% to 95,000).
  • UniMás outperformed The CW with double-digit audience advantages during primetime for the 20th consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+53% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+98% adv.).
  • Sunday night’s movie line-up including, (“Cineplex: World War Z” and “CineMás: Independence Day: Resurgence”) made UniMás a top-rated network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC (+37% adv.), NBC (+80% adv.) and FOX (+80% adv.) with double-digit audience advantages. UniMás also outperformed NBC (+32% adv.) and FOX (+27% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 as well as averaging more Total Viewers 2+ than FOX (+3% adv.) for the entire night. UniMás topped The CW by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 on this night, marking the 23rd straight Sunday night that the network has out-delivered The CW among the Adult 18-49 and Adult 18-34 demographics. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+30% to 478,000), Adults 18-49 (+29% to 234,000) and Adults 18-34 (+23% to 90,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” delivered audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 667,000), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 272,000) and Adults 18-34 (+19% to 127,000). The program also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and Adults 18-34 (+12%).
    • UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” outperformed The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot across all key demos. “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of NBC (+7% adv.) on Tuesday night among Adults 18-34 during the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period. UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” also out-delivered one or more of the major English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS or NBC) among Adults 18-34 on four out of five weeknights during the 9 p.m. hour.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. reality competition series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” attracted 279,000 Total Viewers 2+, 135,000 Adults 18-49 and 50,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week. In fact, the program delivered its highest-rated telecast of the week among Adults 18-34 (62,000) on Thursday night, outperforming CBS by double-digit margins (+32% adv.).
  • On Friday night, UniMás’ live coverage of the “Liga MX: Necaxa vs. Cruz Azul” matchup attracted 388,000 Total Viewers 2+, 219,000 Adults 18-49 and 67,000 Adults 18-34. The game increased the network’s 10:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time slot by double-to-triple digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+98% to 388,000), Adults 18-49 (+126% to 219,000) and Adults 18-34 (+91% to 67,000). The showdown also delivered double-to-triple digit audience growth to the time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+63% to 388,000), Adults 18-49 (+126% to 219,000) and Adults 18-34 (+52% to 67,000).
  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed FOX among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Walking Tall” and “CineNight: Deepwater Horizon”). The movie line-up delivered audience growth to the network’s 7:30p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 584,000) and Adults 18-49 (+10% to 249,000). The films also increased the network’s time slot by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+16% to 584,000).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+115% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+219% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+197% adv.).
