UniMás Delivers Second Consecutive Week of Audience Growth Among Key Demos

The Return of “Enamorándonos” Delivers Double-To-Triple Digit Week-Over-Week Audience Growth on UniMás During Its Time Period

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 18, 2021 to January 24, 2021

  • UniMás attracted 509,000 Total Viewers 2+, 226,000 Adults 18-49 and 96,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week during primetime. UniMás also delivered double-digit primetime audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+50% to 509,000), Adults 18-49 (+34% to 226,000) and Adults 18-34 (+50% to 96,000). This marks the second consecutive week of audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.
  • UniMás out-delivered The CW for the 18th consecutive week during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+5% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+43% adv.) in the current 2020/2021 season.
  • Returning from its December 2020 hiatus, UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” averaged 633,000 Total Viewers 2+, 268,000 Adults 18-49 and 116,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week. Versus its comeback during the week of September 14th, 2020, the program attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+48%), Adults 18-49 (+62%) and Adults 18-34 (+90%). The program also increased its audience in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+11%) and Adults 18-34 (+22%). The series increased the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot by double-to-triple digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+112%), Adults 18-49 (+73%) and Adults 18-34 (+90%). Versus the prior four weeks average, the program delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+75%), Adults 18-49 (+51%) and Adults 18-34 (+57%).
    • “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+20% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+71% adv.). UniMás also outperformed NBC and Telemundo on Thursday night head-to-head in the 8 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, respectively. In the 9 p.m. hour, “Enamorándonos” also propelled UniMás ahead of ABC and NBC on Tuesday night among Adults 18-34 as well as CBS on Wednesday night among Adults 18-49.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC (+74% adv.), CBS (+52% adv.), NBC (+58% adv.) and FOX (+120% adv.) by double-to-triple digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Suave Patria” and “CineNight: Hostage”). This marked the second and fourth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed CBS and ABC, respectively by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34. UniMás also bested FOX (+39% adv.) by double-digits among Adults 18-49 for the entire night. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-over-week (+32%) and year-over-year (+12%) among Adults 18-34 (140,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás’ live coverage of the “Liga MX: Queretaro vs. Pumas UNAM” soccer match delivered 404,000 Total Viewers 2+, 209,000 Adults 18-49 and 75,000 Adults 18-34. The showdown between Queretaro and Pumas UNAM topped NBC (+9% adv.) among Adults 18-34 in the 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period. The match also outperformed The CW among Adults 18-49 (+17% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+15% adv.), marking 21st consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among these demographics. The game increased the network’s 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+6% to 75,000). Following in the 10 p.m. hour, the special movie presentation of “CineMás: Taken 3” attracted 373,000 Total Viewers 2+, 188,000 Adults 18-49 and 51,000 Adults 18-34. The film delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 373,000) and Adults 18-49 (+11% to 188,000). The movie also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+23%), Adults 18-49 (+43%) and Adults 18-34 (+40%).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. reality competition series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” delivered week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 320,000), marking the second consecutive week of audience growth among this demographic. Compared the prior four weeks average, the program delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+51%), Adults 18-49 (+39%) and Adults 18-34 (+41%).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+85% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+111% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+140% adv.).
