UniMás Reports Week-To-Week Primetime Audience Growth Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Outpaces CBS and Telemundo Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 on Saturday Night

UniMás’ Weeknight Reality Series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” Tops The CW for Second Consecutive Week in Its Time Slot Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 11, 2021 to January 17, 2021

  • UniMás averaged 339,000 Total Viewers 2+, 169,000 Adults 18-49 and 64,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week during primetime. UniMás grew its primetime audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 339,000) and Adults 18-49 (+10% to 169,000).
  • UniMás outperformed The CW by double-digit margins for the 17th consecutive week during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+41% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+73% adv.) in the current 2020/2021 season.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás topped ABC (+8% adv.), CBS (+83% adv.) among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Empire State” and “CineNight: Nosotros, los Nobles”). This marked the third consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed ABC by double-digit margins among Adult 18-34 viewers. UniMás also out-delivered CBS (+2% adv.) among Adults 18-49 as well as Telemundo among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 (+20% adv.) for the entire night. The movie line-up delivered audience growth to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+38% to 585,000), Adults 18-49 (+36% to 281,000) and Adults 18-34 (+8% to 106,000). The line-up also increased the time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 585,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% to 281,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás also outperformed The CW among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+61% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+150% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Trapped in Paradise” and “CineMás: Point Break”). This marked the 20th straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the ninth consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+. Additionally, UniMás’ “Cineplex: Trapped in Paradise” outperformed the season two premiere of The CW’s “Batwoman” head-to-head in the 8 p.m. hour among Adults 18-49 (+6% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+89% adv.).
  • UniMás’ weeknight reality competition series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” delivered week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 298,000), Adults 18-49 (+22% to 155,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 61,000). The reality series bested The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period for the second consecutive week among Adults 18-49 (+29% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+61% adv.).
  • UniMás’ 10 p.m. novela series “La Bella y Las Bestias” attracted 206,000 Total Viewers 2+, 98,000 Adults 18-49 and 36,000 Adults 18-34. The novela series increased its audience by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+23%), Adults 18-49 (+24%) and Adults 18-34 (+20%).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+14% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+43% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+25% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos during primetime.
