UniMás’ New Weeknight Series, “Desafío Súper Regiones,” Bests The CW in its Time Period Among A18-34 and A18-49

UniMás Tops ABC for Second Consecutive Saturday Night Among Adults 18-34; Delivers Double-to-Triple Digit Audience Wins Over The CW and Telemundo Across All Key Demos on Sunday Night

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of January 4, 2021 to January 10, 2021

  • In its premiere week, UniMás’ new weeknight reality competition series, “Desafío Súper Regiones” averaged 277,000 Total Viewers 2+, 127,000 Adults 18-34 and 55,000 Adults 18-34. The reality series outperformed The CW in the Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+45% adv.) and delivered more Adult 18-49 viewers.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered FOX (+3% adv.) and Telemundo (+133% adv.) among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Hitman” and “CineMás: Transporter 3”). UniMás also outperformed Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+75% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+83% adv.) as well as The CW among all key demos for the entire night. This marked the 19th straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the eighth consecutive Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 570,000), Adults 18-49 (+18% to 274,000) and Adults 18-34 (+24% to 98,000).
  • Airing from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Saturday night movie presentation of “CineNight: Déjà Vu” attracted 496,000 Total Viewers 2+, 243,000 Adults 18-49 and 117,000 Adults 18-34. The film positioned UniMás ahead of ABC (+95% adv.) with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 for the second consecutive Saturday night. The movie also increased its audience by double-digit margins in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+35%), Adults 18-49 (+40%) and Adults 18-34 (+35%).
  • UniMás delivered 327,000 Total Viewers 2+, 154,000 Adults 18-49 and 64,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week during primetime. UniMás outperformed The CW by double-digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+34% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+88% adv.), marking the 16th consecutive week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in the current 2020/2021 season.
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+27% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+12% adv.).
