“Enamorándonos” Outperforms The CW by Double-to-Triple Digit Margins in its Time Period Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 During the Week and Also Tops CBS and Telemundo on Monday Night with Adults 18-34 in the 9 P.M. Hour
UniMás Reports Week-Over-Week and Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of October 19, 2020 to October 25, 2020
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” delivered 576,000 Total Viewers 2+, 239,000 Adults 18-49 and 105,000 Adults 18-34, marking its highest-rated weekly performance since its return on September 14th, 2020. The series increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4%), Adults 18-49 (+8%) and Adults 18-34 (+4%). The program also delivered its fifth consecutive week of audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34 since its return. The series delivered double-digit audience growth to network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+75%), Adults 18-49 (+52%) and Adults 18-34 (+46%).
- On Monday night, UniMás out-delivered Telemundo by double-digit margins in the 8 p.m. hour (+26% adv.) and outperformed CBS (+47% adv.) and Telemundo (+5% adv.) in the 9 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34. In fact, UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” topped Telemundo in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-digits among Adults 18-34 (+13% adv.) on Monday night. “Enamorándonos” also positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-to-triple digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+41% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+163% adv.).
- The reality series drew in more Adults 18-34 than first-run episodes of CBS’ “One Day at a Time” and “Manhunt: Deadly Games-Sat;” as well as The CW’s “Supernatural,” “Devils,” “Swamp Thing,” “The Outpost,” “Tell Me a Story,” “Pandora” and “Coroner.”
- UniMás delivered 457,000 Total Viewers 2+, 194,000 Adults 18-49 and 77,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime for the entire week. UniMás delivered primetime audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%). UniMás also grew its audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+29%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%). This week marked the seventh consecutive week of year-over-year audience growth and the highest-rated weekly performance in the current 2020/2021 season among Total Viewers 2+. UniMás outperformed The CW during primetime for the fifth straight week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+29% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+97% adv.). UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 40th and 43rd consecutive week in 2020 year-to-date among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
- UniMás’ Friday night movie presentation, “Cineplex: Poseidon” attracted 264,000 Total Viewers 2+, 100,000 Adults 18-49 and 40,000 Adults 18-34. The film delivered double-digit audience gains in the last half-hour compared to the first half-hour among Adults 18-34 (+14%). UniMás also topped The CW in the Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+14% adv.).
- On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos by triple-digit margins among all key demos with the movie line-up (“Cineplex: I, Robot” and “CineNight: Mr. & Mrs. Smith”). The line-up increased the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+33% to 463,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% to 201,000).
- On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+57% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+202% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+117% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: X-Men: Apocalypse” and “CineMás: Hitman: Agent 47”). This marks the eighth straight Sunday night that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+53% to 590,000), Adults 18-49 (+75% to 263,000) and Adults 18-34 (+59% to 89,000). The movies also increased the time period by +5% year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+. With an average audience of 285,000 Adults 18-49, UniMás’ “Cineplex: X-Men: Apocalypse” currently ranks as the highest-rated primetime feature film in the current 2020/2021 season on the network.
- UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+100% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+159% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+126% adv.).
