UniMás’ Saturday Night Movie Presentation Delivers Double-Digit Audience Wins Over NBC and FOX Among Adults 18-34, Outperforms FOX and Telemundo Among Adults 18-49 

UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” Tops Telemundo in the 8 P.M. to 10 P.M. Time Slot on Thursday Night Among Adults 18-34, Achieves Highest-Rated Weekly Performance Since Its Return With Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of October 12, 2020 to October 18, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed NBC (+23% adv.) and FOX (+35% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 with the special movie presentation of “CineNight: King Kong.” UniMás also out-delivered FOX (+14% adv.) and Telemundo (+11% adv.) among Adults 18-49 for the entire night and bested Telemundo by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% adv.). The movie increased its audience every hour and delivered double-digit gains in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+52%), Adults 18-49 (+53%) and Adults 18-34 (+70%). The film delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+78% to 625,000), Adults 18-49 (+85% to 262,000) and Adults 18-34 (+45% to 96,000). The movie also increased the time period by triple-digits year-over-year among all key demos. The film finished among the top 4 most-watched programs on broadcast television on Saturday night among Adults 18-34. UniMás’ “CineNight: King Kong” currently ranks as the highest-rated primetime feature film among all key demos in the current 2020/2021 season on the network.
  • UniMás attracted 443,000 Total Viewers 2+, 181,000 Adults 18-49 and 77,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime for the entire week. UniMás delivered primetime audience growth week-over-week (+7%) and year-over-year (+9%) among Total Viewers 2+. This marked the sixth consecutive week of year-over-year audience growth among Total Viewers 2+. UniMás bested The CW during primetime for the fourth straight week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+2% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+38% adv.). UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 39th and 42nd consecutive week in 2020 year-to-date among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” attracted 552,000 Total Viewers 2+, 221,000 Adults 18-49 and 101,000 Adults 18-34. This marked the highest-rated weekly performance among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34 since its return on September 14th, 2020. The reality series increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-34, marking the series’ fourth consecutive week of audience gains among these demographics. The program also delivered double-digit audience growth to network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+32%).
    • On Tuesday night, UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” topped FOX in the 9 p.m. hour among Adults 18-34. On Wednesday night, UniMás outperformed Telemundo by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+26% adv.) during the 8 p.m. hour. On Thursday night, “Enamorándonos” also out-delivered Telemundo among Adults 18-49 (+2% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+59% adv.) in the 8 p.m. hour and attracted more Adults 18-34 (+9% adv.) in the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period. “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Adults 18-49 (+4% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+63% adv.).
    • The reality series drew in more Adults 18-34 than first-run episodes of ABC’s “The Con;” NBC’s “Connecting…;” FOX’s “Next” and “Cosmos: Possible Worlds;” as well as The CW’s “Devils,” “Swamp Thing,” “The Outpost,” “Tell Me a Story,” “Pandora” and  “Coroner.”
  • UniMás’ Friday night movie presentation, “Cineplex: The Revenant” averaged 318,000 Total Viewers 2+, 135,000 Adults 18-49 and 47,000 Adults 18-34. The movie increased its audience in the last half-hour compared to the first half-hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+8%) and Adults 18-34 (+26%). The film also delivered audience growth to the network’s Friday 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+122% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+124% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Narc” and “CineMás: Transporter 2”). This marks the seventh consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has outperformed The CW among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. UniMás increased its audience throughout the night by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+27%) and Adults 18-49 (+23%) with the back-to-back movie airings.
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+111% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+162% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+141% adv.).
