UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” Tops FOX on Monday Night and NBC on Thursday Night in the Time Period With Adults 18-34

UniMás Reports Primetime Audience Growth Year-Over-Year Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of October 5, 2020 to October 11, 2020

  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” attracted 550,000 Total Viewers 2+, 227,000 Adults 18-49 and 94,000 Adults 18-34, marking its highest-rated weekly performance since its return on September 14th, 2020. The reality series delivered week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+10%) and Adults 18-34 (+3%), marking the series’ third consecutive week of audience gains. The program also increased its audience in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+7%) and Adults 18-34 (+15%). “Enamorándonos” also grew its audience by double-to-triple digits in the time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+107%), Adults 18-49 (+89%) and Adults 18-34 (+77%).
    • “Enamorándonos” outperformed FOX on Monday night during the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Adults 18-34. In fact, UniMás out-delivered FOX by double-digit margins (+11% adv.) in the 9 p.m. hour among Adult 18-34 viewers. On Thursday night, UniMás topped NBC (+20% adv.) during the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot among Adults 18-34. UniMás also outperformed NBC by double-digits among Adults 18-34 (+70% adv.) in the 8 p.m. hour. “Enamorándonos” positioned UniMás ahead of The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Adults 18-49 (+7% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+47% adv.).
    • The reality series drew in more Adults 18-34 than first-run episodes of CBS’ “Star Trek: Discovery;” NBC’s “Connecting…;” FOX’s “Next,” “Filthy Rich” and “LA’s Finest;” as well as The CW’s “Devils,” “Swamp Thing,” “The Outpost,” “Pandora” and “Coroner.”
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. novela series, “La Bella y Las Bestias” increased its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 219,000) and Adults 18-34 (+29% to 53,000). In fact, on Thursday night the series delivered its highest-rated telecast of the week among Adults 18-34, positioning UniMás ahead of CBS (+4% adv.) and Telemundo (+17% adv.) in the 10 p.m. hour.
  • UniMás’ Friday night movie presentation, “Cineplex: The Zookeeper” averaged 384,000 Total Viewers 2+, 196,000 Adults 18-49 and 82,000 Adults 18-34. The movie increased its audience throughout its airing with double-digit gains in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+48%) and Adults 18-34 (+33%). The film also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+24%), Adults 18-49 (+48%) and Adults 18-34 (+32%). UniMás topped The CW in the Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with triple-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • UniMás averaged 411,000 Total Viewers 2+, 181,000 Adults 18-49 and 79,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime for the entire week. UniMás delivered double-digit primetime audience growth week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+11%). UniMás also grew its primetime audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+18%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%). This marked the fifth consecutive week of double-digit audience growth among Total Viewers 2+. UniMás outperformed The CW during primetime for the third consecutive week in the current 2020/2021 season among Adults 18-49 (+3% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+46% adv.). UniMás also topped The CW in primetime for the 38th and 41st consecutive week in 2020 year-to-date among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos by triple-digit margins among all key demos with the movie line-up (“Cineplex: Police Story: Lockdown” and “CineNight: Poseidon”). The line-up also increased the network’s 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% to 366,000), Adults 18-49 (+27% to 152,000) and Adults 18-34 (+46% to 70,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+31% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+98% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+109% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Smokin’ Aces” and “CineMás: Your Move”). This marks the sixth consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has outperformed The CW among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digits week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+38% to 90,000). The line-up also delivered double-digit audience growth year-over-year in the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+33% to 430,000) and Adults 18-49 (+17% to 208,000).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+94% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+183% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+259% adv.).
