UniMás Outperforms CBS By Double-Digit Margins Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 on Saturday Night

UniMás Reports Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 

UniMás’ Live Coverage of Liga MX Soccer Action Delivers Double-to-Triple Digit Audience Growth to the Time Period Across Key Demos 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 7, 2020 to September 13, 2020 

  • On Saturday night, UniMás bested CBS by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+21% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+61% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Eagle Eye” and “CineNight: Unknown”). This marked the fifth straight Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed CBS among Adults 18-34. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+60% to 696,000), Adults 18-49 (+66% to 301,000) and Adults 18-34 (+61% to 103,000). The line-up also increased the time period by double-digits year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+62%), Adults 18-49 (+53%) and Adults 18-34 (+23%). 
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+87% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+267% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Man of Steel” and “CineMás: A Good Day to Die Hard”). This marked the second consecutive Sunday night that UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among all key demos. 
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience by double-digits week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+31% to 371,000), Adults 18-49 (+18% to 167,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 62,000). UniMás also delivered primetime audience growth year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%). UniMás outperformed The CW by double-digits during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+31% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+63% adv.), marking the 34th and 39th consecutive week that it has topped The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively. 
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased its audience week-over-week by double-digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 269,000) while averaging 128,000 Adults 18-49 and 44,000 Adults 18-34. The reality series also drew in more Adults 18-34 than first-run episodes of The CW’s “Coroner,” “Tell Me a Story,” “Dead Pixels” and “Being Reuben.” 
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 303,000) and Adults 18-34 (+14% to 50,000), marking the third consecutive week of double-digit audience growth among Adult 18-34 viewers. 
  • On Wednesday night, live coverage of the “Liga MX: Cruz Azul vs. Pachuca” soccer match positioned UniMás ahead of The CW among Adult 18-34 viewers (+24% adv.). Averaging 386,000 Total Viewers 2+, 158,000 Adults 18-49 and 56,000 Adults 18-34, the game delivered triple-digit audience growth to the network’s 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period week-over-week across all key demos. The showdown between Cruz Azul and Pachuca also increased the time slot by double-to-triple digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+62%), Adults 18-49 (+96%) and Adults 18-34 (+124%). 
  • On Friday night, UniMás’ broadcast of the “Liga MX: Necaxa vs. Chivas Guadalajara” soccer game attracted 450,000 Total Viewers 2+, 221,000 Adults 18-49 and 81,000 Adults 18-34. The match positioned UniMás ahead of The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+154% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+153% adv.). The game increased the network’s 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+74%) Adults 18-49 (+74%) and Adults 18-34 (+56%). The showdown also delivered audience growth to the time slot compared to the same night last year among Total Viewers 2+ (+42%), Adults 18-49 (+59%) and Adults 18-34 (+9%). 
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+63% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+139% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+121% adv.).
