UniMás Outperforms Telemundo on Saturday and Sunday Night With Adult 18-34 Viewers

The Return of UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” Delivers Double-Digit Audience Growth in the Time Period Across All Key Demos, Bests The CW By Double-Digits Among Adults 18-34 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 14, 2020 to September 20, 2020 

  • On Saturday night, UniMás out-delivered CBS (+82% adv.) and Telemundo (+3% adv.) among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: El Cantante” and “CineNight: No Se Aceptan Devoluciones”). This marked the sixth straight Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed CBS among Adults 18-34. The movie line-up delivered audience growth to the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 453,000). 
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed Telemundo (+7% adv.) among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: The Shepherd” and “CineMás: Taken 3”). UniMás also out-delivered The CW by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 for the entire night, marking the third straight Sunday night that UniMás topped The CW among these demographics. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digits week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+82% to 622,000), Adults 18-49 (+70% to 267,000) and Adults 18-34 (+82% to 120,000). The line-up also delivered double-to-triple digit audience growth year-over-year in the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+109%), Adults 18-49 (+69%) and Adults 18-34 (+58%). 
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 440,000), Adults 18-49 (+7% to 178,000) and Adults 18-34 (+27% to 79,000). UniMás also delivered double-digit primetime audience growth year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+61%), Adults 18-49 (+44%) and Adults 18-34 (+49%). UniMás bested The CW by double-to-triple digits during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+29% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+119% adv.), marking the 35th and 40th consecutive week that it has topped The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively. 
  • The return of UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality series, “Enamorándonos” delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+34% to 429,000), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 165,000) and Adults 18-34 (+20% to 61,000). Compared to the prior four weeks average, the reality series delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+56%), Adults 18-49 (+20%) and Adults 18-34 (+15%). The program also increased the time period by double-digits year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+83%), Adults 18-49 (+77%) and Adults 18-34 (+45%). UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” outperformed The CW in the Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot for the entire week among Adults 18-49 (+9% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+61% adv.). 
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased its audience by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 300,000) and Adults 18-34 (+41% to 62,000). The reality series also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+19%) and Adults 18-34 (+55%). 
  • UniMás’ Friday night movie presentation, “Cineplex: The Losers” averaged 209,000 Total Viewers 2+, 89,000 Adults 18-49 and 42,000 Adults 18-34. The movie increased its audience throughout its airing with double-digit gains in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), Adults 18-49 (+22%) and Adults 18-34 (+17%). The film also delivered audience growth to the network’s Friday 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+4% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+63% adv.). 
  • On Friday night, live coverage of “Liga MX: Mazatlán vs. Cruz Azul” soccer match attracted 393,000 Total Viewers 2+, 185,000 Adults 18-49 and 71,000 Adults 18-34. The game delivered triple-digit audience growth to the network’s 10:30 p.m. to 12:45 a.m. time period week-over-week and year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. 
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+106% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+170% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+229% adv.). 
  • In the 2019/2020 season, UniMás finished as the fastest growing major broadcast network on all of television, delivering double-digit year-over-year audience growth in primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+24% to 466,000), Adults 18-49 (+30% to 223,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 91,000). UniMás also outperformed The CW in the 2019/2020 season among Adults 18-49 (+8% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+26% adv.).
