UniMás Tops CBS, FOX and Telemundo By Double-To-Triple Digit Margins Among A18-34 and A18-49 on Saturday Night

UniMás Delivers Double-Digit Week-Over-Week Audience Increases in Primetime Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 24, 2020 to August 30, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC (+50% adv.), CBS (+134% adv.), FOX (+138% adv.) and Telemundo (+111% adv.) with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Transporter 3” and “CineNight: Trapped in Paradise”). This marked the third consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed CBS among Adults 18-34. UniMás out-delivered CBS (+53% adv.), FOX (+48% adv.) and Telemundo (+154% adv.) among Adults 18-49 for the entire night and bested Telemundo by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+136% adv.). This marked the second straight Saturday night that UniMás has topped FOX among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and the fourth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed Telemundo among Adults 18-49. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+46% to 739,000), Adults 18-49 (+30% to 304,000) and Adults 18-34 (+58% to 144,000). The line-up also increased the time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+39%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and Adults 18-34 (+4%). This night marked the network’s highest-rated Saturday night among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 since April 2020.
  • UniMás’ primetime audience grew by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 360,000), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 172,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 70,000). UniMás also out-delivered The CW during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+4% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+23% adv.), marking the 32nd and 37th consecutive week that it has topped The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased its audience week-over-week among Adults 18-49 (+9% to 142,000). The reality series also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Thursday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+26% to 142,000) and Adults 18-34 (+32% to 54,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” increased its audience by double-digits week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 281,000), Adults 18-49 (+33% to 136,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 39,000).
  • UniMás’ Friday night 8 p.m. movie presentation, “Cineplex: Next” delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+48% to 334,000), Adults 18-49 (+42% to 163,000) and Adults 18-34 (+84% to 83,000). The movie also delivered double-to-triple digit year-over-year audience growth to the time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+60%), Adults 18-49 (+55%) and Adults 18-34 (+108%). UniMás also topped The CW in the Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+79% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+277% adv.).
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+58% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+142% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+169% adv.).
