UniMás Tops Telemundo on Saturday Night Across All Key Demos, Outperforms CBS by Triple-Digit Margins Among A18-34

UniMás Bests FOX for Second Straight Sunday Night Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 10, 2020 to August 16, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás out-delivered CBS (+107% adv.) and Telemundo (+87% adv.) by double-to-triple digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: 10.0 Earthquake” and “CineNight: Noah”). UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+27% adv.) for the entire night, marking the second consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has outperformed Telemundo among the Adult 18-49 demographic. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+16% to 570,000), Adults 18-49 (+18% to 253,000) and Adults 18-34 (+20% to 103,000). The line-up also increased the time period by double-to-triple digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+51%), Adults 18-49 (+76%) and Adults 18-34 (+106%).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed FOX for the second consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: The Transporter” and “CineMás: Shooter”). UniMás also out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+91% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+189% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+143% adv.) for the entire night. This marked the 13th consecutive Sunday night that UniMás has topped The CW among Total Viewers 2+ and the 36th consecutive Sunday night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 506,000). The line-up also delivered audience growth year-over-year to the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), Adults 18-49 (+2%) and Adults 18-34 (+40%).
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 350,000) and delivered an average audience of 167,000 Adults 18-49 and 65,000 Adults 18-34 for the entire week. UniMás also delivered double-digit primetime audience growth year-over-year among Adults 18-34 (+20%) for the second consecutive week. UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+13% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+30% adv.), marking the 30th and 35th consecutive week that it has topped The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” increased its audience week-over-week by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 313,000), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 131,000) and Adults 18-34 (+34% to 47,000). The newscast also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-34 (+34%).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. reality series, “Vas Con Todo” delivered week-over-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 116,000), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 53,000) and Adults 18-34 (+40% to 21,000). The reality series also attracted more viewers to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+2%) and Adults 18-34 (+40%).
  • UniMás’ Friday night 8 p.m. movie presentation, “Cineplex: Taken 2” delivered double-to-triple digit audience growth to the network’s Friday 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 321,000), Adults 18-49 (+40% to 164,000) and Adults 18-34 (+106% to 68,000). UniMás also out-delivered The CW by triple-digit margins among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and by +4% among Total Viewers 2+.
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+51% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+132% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+124% adv.).
