UniMás Delivers Double-Digit Wins Over The CW for the 23rd Straight Week in Primetime Among Adults 18-49

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 22, 2020 to June 28, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed CBS (+41% adv.), NBC (+36% adv.) and Telemundo (+11% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: Journey to the Center of the Earth” and “CineNight: Police Story: Lockdown”). This marked the seventh consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered CBS among Adults 18-34. The movie line-up delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 451,000), Adults 18-49 (+23% to 198,000) and Adults 18-34 (+21% to 87,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-to-triple digit margins for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+ (+34% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+154% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+329% adv.) with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: The Marine 2” and “CineMás: China Salesman”). This marked the sixth consecutive Sunday that UniMás has outperformed The CW among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+18% to 536,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% to 231,000).
  • UniMás averaged 414,000 Total Viewers 2+, 183,000 Adults 18-49 and 64,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime for the entire week. UniMás also out-delivered The CW by double-digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+20% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+49% adv.), marking the 23rd and 28th consecutive week that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+16% to 304,000), Adults 18-49 (+19% to 141,000) and Adults 18-34 (+34% to 47,000). The newscast also delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+23%), Adults 18-49 (+22%) and Adults 18-34 (+32%) versus the prior four weeks average.
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+141% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+205% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+167% adv.) for the entire week.
