Univision is No. 1 Primetime Network on All of Television for Fourth Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-34

Univision Outperforms CBS, FOX and All Cable Networks in Primetime for Second Straight Week With Adults 18-49

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 15, 2020 to June 21, 2020

  • Univision captured the No. 1 network ranking on all of television during primetime, outperforming ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW and all cable networks for the fourth consecutive week with 232,000 Adults 18-34 as well as the No. 3 network, ahead of CBS, FOX, The CW and all cable networks for the second consecutive week with 536,000 Adults 18-49.
  • For the entire week, Univision ranked as the fourth most-watched broadcast network in primetime, out-delivering FOX and The CW with 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+.
  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every single night last week among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, marking the fifth consecutive week with the 18 to 34 demographic.
  • Univision finished as the No. 1 Spanish-language network during primetime for the thirtieth consecutive week with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+83% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+79% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+76% adv.).
  • Monday through Friday, Univision increased its primetime audience from the comparable week last among Total Viewers 2+ (+27% to 1.7 million), Adults 18-49 (+20% to 660,000) and Adults 18-34 (+31% to 288,000), positioning it as the No. 1 broadcast network during weeknight primetime, outperforming ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW and Telemundo with Adults 18-34 as well as the second most-watched broadcast network, ahead of ABC, CBS, FOX, The CW and Telemundo with Adults 18-49.
    • At 8 p.m., “Te Doy La Vida” averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 663,000 Adults 18-49 and 306,000 Adults 18-34 and made Univision the No. 1 broadcast network for the fourth consecutive week, ahead of ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and The CW with Adults 18-34. The series also outperformed Telemundo’s “Cennet” by +41% among Total Viewers 2+, +62% among Adults 18-49 and +66% among Adults 18-34.
    • At 9 p.m., “Amor Eterno” averaged two times the audience levels of Telemundo’s “100 Dias Para Enamorarnos” with 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 742,000 Adults 18-49 and 314,000 Adults 18-34 and propelled Univision to a first-place finish on broadcast television for the eighth consecutive week among Adults 18-34 and second-place, ahead of ABC, CBS, FOX and The CW for the second consecutive week with Adults 18-49.
    • At 10 p.m., “Como Tú No Hay 2” attracted 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 598,000 Adults 18-49 and 253,000 Adults 18-34 and positioned Univision as the top-rated network on broadcast television, outperforming ABC, CBS and NBC for the seventh consecutive week with Adults 18-34. The romantic comedy also averaged two times the audience levels of Telemundo’s “La Reina Del Sur II Edicion Espcial” among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • On every single weeknight last week, Univision’s “Te Doy La Vida,” “Amor Eterno” and “Como Tú No Hay 2” ranked within the top 5 programs on all of broadcast television with more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of ABC’s “Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “To Tell The Truth;” CBS’ “Broke” and “Game On!;” NBC’s “Blindspot,” “Council of Dads” and “Songland;” FOX’s “Celebrity Watch Party” and “Labor of Love” as well as The CW’s “Bulletproof,” “Burden of Truth,” “DC’s Stargirl,” “In The Dark,” “Roswell New Mexico” and “The Hundred.”
  • On Sunday night, Univision’s movie presentation of “Transporter 3” attracted 860,000 Total Viewers 2+, 335,000 Adults 18-49 and 132,000 Adults 18-34 and positioned it as the No. 3 broadcast network in the 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time slot, ahead of CBS, FOX, The CW and Telemundo with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. “Transporter 3” also increased its audience by double-digits in the last hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and Adults 18-34 (+21%) and drove Univision to a first-place finish on Spanish-language television for the entire Sunday night with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+71% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+56% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+80% adv.).
