UniMás Tops ABC, CBS and FOX By Double-To-Triple Digit Margins for the Second Consecutive Saturday Night Among Adults 18-34
Network Out-Delivers Telemundo by Double-Digit Margins Across All Key Demos on Sunday Night
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 15, 2020 to June 21, 2020
- UniMás delivered double-digit primetime audience growth week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 438,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 199,000) and Adults 18-34 (+21% to 74,000). UniMás also outperformed The CW by double-digit margins during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+43% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+95% adv.), marking the 22nd and 27th consecutive week that it has out-delivered The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
- On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC (+74% adv.), CBS (+135% adv.) and FOX (+87% adv.) by double-to-triple digit margins for the second consecutive Saturday night among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: The Transporter” and “CineNight: Walking Tall”). This also marked the sixth consecutive Saturday night that UniMás has out-delivered CBS and FOX among Adults 18-34. UniMás out-delivered ABC (+36% adv.), FOX (+46% adv.) and Telemundo (+14% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 for the entire night and attracted more Total Viewers 2+ than FOX and Telemundo. The movie line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+46% to 553,000), Adults 18-49 (+48% to 246,000) and Adults 18-34 (+73% to 97,000). The line-up also increased the time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+53%), Adults 18-49 (+74%) and Adults 18-34 (+70%).
- On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered FOX and The CW by double to triple-digit margins for the entire night among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included (“Cineplex: 3 Days to Kill” and “CineMás: Law Abiding Citizen”). UniMás also outperformed The CW by double to triple-digits among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 for the entire night. This marked the 28th consecutive Sunday that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. UniMás also finished as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the entire night, outperforming Telemundo by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+24% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.). The movie line-up increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 544,000), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 240,000) and Adults 18-34 (+22% to 94,000). The line-up also delivered audience growth year-over-year to the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+20%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%).
- UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. adventure reality competition series, “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period by double-digit margins week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+17% to 401,000), Adults 18-49 (+14% to 186,000) and Adults 18-34 (+15% to 68,000). The reality series also delivered audience growth to the time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+7%), Adults 18-49 (+3%) and Adults 18-34 (+6%) versus the prior four weeks average.
- UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” delivered audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 263,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% to 118,000) versus the prior four weeks average.
- UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+153% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+221% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+174% adv.) for the entire week.
