UniMás – The Fastest Growing Major Broadcast Net – Delivers 30th Straight Week of Year-Over-Year Primetime Growth

UniMás Out-Delivers ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and Telemundo by Double-To-Triple Digits on Saturday Night, Marking Fourth Consecutive Saturday Night It Has Topped ABC and FOX Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 11, 2020 to May 17, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás out-delivered ABC (+260% adv.), CBS (+57% adv.), NBC (+39% adv.), FOX (+221% adv.) and Telemundo (+17% adv.) by double-to-triple digit margins among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: Spy” and CineNight: Cocaine Godmother”. The line-up delivered double-digit audience growth week-over-week to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+18% to 620,000), Adults 18-49 (+18% to 276,000) and Adults 18-34 (+72% to 141,000). The movies increased the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot by double to triple-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+35%), Adults 18-49 (+47%) and Adults 18-34 (+176%). UniMás also outperformed ABC (+44% adv.) and FOX (+49% adv.) by double-digits among Adults 18-49 for the entire night, marking the fourth consecutive Saturday that UniMás has out-delivered ABC and FOX among Adults 18-34 and the third consecutive Saturday that it has outperformed ABC among Adults 18-49.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás outperformed NBC (+20% adv.) and The CW (+55% adv.) by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 for the second consecutive Sunday night with a line-up that included (“Cineplex: Man of Steel” and “CineMás: 300: Rise of an Empire”). UniMás also out-delivered The CW on Sunday night by double-digits among Adults 18-49 (+19% adv.), marking the 23rd consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+24% to 546,000), Adults 18-49 (+39% to 275,000) and Adults 18-34 (+47% to 115,000).
  • UniMás increased its primetime audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 445,000), Adults 18-49 (+36% to 215,000) and Adults 18-34 (+82% to 91,000), marking the 30th consecutive week of audience growth.
  • UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire week during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+5% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+40% adv.), marking the 17th and 22nd consecutive week that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is averaging double-digit audience growth during primetime versus the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+41% to 510,000), Adults 18-49 (+46% to 246,000) and Adults 18-34 (+40% to 102,000).
  • At 8 p.m., the novela series “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” delivered double-digit audience growth year-over-year to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+34% to 480,000), Adults 18-49 (+54% to 222,000) and Adults 18-34 (+80% to 92,000). UniMás also out-delivered The CW in the 8pm hour by double-digits among Adults 18-34 (+21% adv.) for the entire week.
  • At 9 p.m., the adventure reality competition series “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” increased the network’s Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period year-over-year among Adults 18-49 (+8% to 169,000) and Adults 18-34 (+72% to 67,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” delivered audience growth to the network’s 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+35% to 227,000), Adults 18-49 (+29% to 115,000) and Adults 18-34 (+3% to 39,000). The newscast also increased the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+46%), Adults 18-49 (+67%) and Adults 18-34 (+70%).
  • UniMás outperformed the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double to triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+73% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+150% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+203% adv.) for the entire week. UniMás is also out-delivering the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double to triple-digit margins in the current 2019/2020 season among all key demos.
