UniMás Outperforms Telemundo for Fourth Consecutive Sunday Night Among Total Viewers 2+, A18-49 and A18-34

Network Out-Delivers ABC and FOX for Third Consecutive Saturday Night Among Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 4, 2020 to May 10, 2020

  • On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC (+9% adv.) and FOX (+17% adv.) for the third consecutive Saturday among Adults 18-34 with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: Jonah Hex” and “CineNight: Pacific Rim.” UniMás also out-delivered ABC by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+21% adv.) for the second consecutive Saturday night. UniMás’ 7 p.m. airing of “Cineplex: Jonah Hex” delivered audience growth to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. time slot year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 517,000), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 208,000) and Adults 18-34 (+7% to 76,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered NBC (+5% adv.) and The CW (+62% adv.) among Adults 18-34 during primetime with a line-up that included (“Cineplex: Transporter 2” and “CineMás: Deadpool”). UniMás also outperformed The CW on Sunday night among Adults 18-49 (+52% adv.), marking the 22nd consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+11% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+6% adv.) for the fourth consecutive Sunday night. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 646,000), Adults 18-49 (+16% to 316,000) and Adults 18-34 (+24% to 129,000).
  • UniMás delivered double-digit primetime audience growth year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+39% to 447,000), Adults 18-49 (+43% to 227,000) and Adults 18-34 (+32% to 90,000), marking the 29th consecutive week of audience growth.
  • UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire week during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+15% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+36% adv.), marking the 16th and 21st consecutive week that it has outperformed The CW with Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, respectively.
  • In the current 2019/2020 season, UniMás is averaging double-digit audience growth during primetime versus the previous season among Total Viewers 2+ (+42% to 512,000), Adults 18-49 (+46% to 247,000) and Adults 18-34 (+38% to 102,000).
  • At 8 p.m., the novela series “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” increased week-to-week among Adults 18-49 (+3% to 247,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 92,000). This marks the highest-rated weekly performance among Adults 18-49 and the second consecutive week of audience growth among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The novela series also delivered double-to-triple digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+119% to 500,000), Adults 18-49 (+117%) and Adults 18-34 (+77%). UniMás also outperformed The CW in the 8 p.m. hour by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+11% adv.) for the entire week.
  • At 9 p.m., the weeknight comedy series “Nosotros los Guapos” delivered audience growth week-to-week among Adults 18-49 (+6% to 216,000). The series also increased the network’s Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period by double-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+36% to 368,000), Adults 18-49 (+62%) and Adults 18-34 (+59% to 94,000). UniMás also bested The CW in the Monday to Friday 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot by double to triple-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+53% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+109% adv.) for the entire week.
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” grew week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 368,000), Adults 18-49 (+18% to 190,000) and Adults 18-34 (+4% to 74,000). The newscast also increased the network’s Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time slot by triple-digit margins year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+122%), Adults 18-49 (+129%) and Adults 18-34 (+106%).
  • UniMás’ weeknight reality series, “Vas Con Todo” delivered double-to-triple digit year-over-year audience growth to the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. time slot among Total Viewers 2+ (+42% to 143,000), Adults 18-49 (+60% to 77,000) and Adults 18-34 (+100% to 34,000).
  • UniMás out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by triple-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+83% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+177% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+233% adv.) for the entire week. UniMás is also outperforming the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double-to-triple digit margins in the current 2019/2020 season among all key demos.
