UniMás Delivers Year-Over-Year Primetime Audience Growth For Eleventh Consecutive Week Across All Key Demos

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 30, 2019 to January 5, 2020

  • UniMás delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+55% to 514,000), Adults 18-49 (+67% to 249,000) and Adults 18-34 (+43% to 97,000), marking the eleventh consecutive week of audience growth.
  • For the entire week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+16% to 514,000) and Adults 18-49 (+14% to 249,000). UniMás also increased its audience week-over-week among Adults 18-34 (+5% to 97,000), marking the second consecutive week of audience growth.
  • For the third consecutive week, UniMás outperformed The CW in primetime with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+53% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+70% adv.).
  • Driven by Wednesday night’s special New Year’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Man On Fire” and “Cineplex: The Book of Eli,” UniMás out-delivered Telemundo with double-digit audience advantages for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+ (+22% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+44% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+37% adv.). UniMás also delivered triple-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+112% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+433% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+746% adv.) over The CW for the entire night. The movie-lineup increased UniMás’ Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 808,000), Adults 18-49 (+25% to 434,000) and Adults 18-34 (+31% to 188,000).
  • Monday night’s airing of “Cineplex: The Transporter,” increased UniMás’ 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time period week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 399,000) and Adults 18-49 (+9% to 174,000).
  • On Thursday night, UniMás’ movie presentation of “Cineplex: The Italian Job” delivered double-to-triple digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+82% to 440,000), Adults 18-49 (+121% to 250,000) and Adults 18-34 (+107% to 87,000) to the network’s 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time period versus the previous week.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+74% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+189% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+236% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cineplex: The Hunted” and “CineMás: Hancock,” marking the fourth consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW. The Sunday night movie-lineup also delivered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 682,000), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 318,000) and Adults 18-34 (+3% to 131,000) to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+114% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+266% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+304% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
