UniMás Outperforms The CW during Primetime for Second Straight Week Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 23, 2019 to December 29, 2019

  • UniMás delivered double-digit year-over-year audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+48% to 442,000), Adults 18-49 (+65% to 218,000) and Adults 18-34 (+37% to 92,000), marking the tenth consecutive week of audience growth.
  • For the second consecutive week, UniMás outperformed The CW in primetime with double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+43% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+92% adv.).
  • On Tuesday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+13% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+73% adv.) with a Christmas Eve movie presentation of “Cineplex: The Peanuts Movie” and “Cineplex: Fred Claus”. The Tuesday night movie-line-up also delivered triple-digit audience gains among Adults 18-34 (+100% to 92,000) to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • Driven by Wednesday night’s special Christmas movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Elf” and “Cineplex: Fantastic Four,” UniMás out-delivered Telemundo for the entire night among Adults 18-49 (+6% adv.). UniMás also delivered double-digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+42% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+70% adv.) over The CW for the entire night. The movie-lineup increased UniMás’ Wednesday 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+52% to 655,000), Adults 18-49 (+67% to 334,000) and Adults 18-34 (+84% to 129,000).
  • On Saturday night, UniMás’ movie line-up of “Cineplex: The Three Stooges” and “Cinenight: The Dukes of Hazzard”  delivered double-digit audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+27% to 608,000), Adults 18-49 (+54% to 293,000) and Adults 18-34 (+61% to 153,000) to the networks’ Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+23% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+112% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+210% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cineplex: Maze Runner 2: The Scorch Trials” and “CineMás: Snow White and the Huntsman,” marking the third consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW.
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+94% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+195% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+197% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
