Univision’s Entire Sunday Primetime Lineup Delivers Highest-Rated Telecast of the Season

“Cuna de Lobos” Generates Week-Over-Week Audience Gains Among All Key Demos Including Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 4, 2019 to November 10, 2019

  • On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-language network for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+18% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+11% adv.), marking the second consecutive Sunday night with Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+.
  • “Aquí y Ahora” attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+34% to 1.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+49% to 489,000) and Adults 18-34 (+41% to 192,000) than the prior week. This marked the primetime news magazine’s highest-rated performance in the current 2019/2020 season thus far with the key Adult 18 to 49 demographic.
  • “Reina de la Canción” averaged its highest-rated telecast with week-over week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 1.4 million), Adults 18-49 (+20% to 580,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 232,000). The reality series also drew in more Total Viewers 2+ (+4%), Adults 18-49 (+4%) and Adults 18-34 (+8%) to the network’s 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot from the comparable Sunday last year.
  • “Crónicas” increased its audience by double-digits from the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+35% to 1.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+56% to 497,000) and Adults 18-34 (+93% to 183,000) to deliver its highest audience levels of the current 2019/2020 season thus far. It also averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (+77% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+94% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+62% adv.) than Telemundo’s “El Secreto de Selena” head-to-head in the Sunday 10 p.m. hour.
  • Univision finished ahead of The CW during primetime for the seventh consecutive week since the start of the current 2019/2020 season with 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 505,000 Adults 18-49 and 208,000 Adults 18-34.
  • Univision’s “Cuna de Lobos” delivered week-over-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 1.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 551,000) and Adults 18-34 (+2% to 209,000). Averaging over half-a-million Adult 18-49 viewers (551,000), “Cuna de Lobos” outperformed The CW’s entire original primetime line-up consisting of “Arrow,” “Batwoman,” “Charmed,” “Dynasty,” “Flash,” “Legacies,” “Nancy Drew,” “Riverdale,” “Supergirl” and “Supernatural” as well as the first-run episode of CBS’ “Madam Secretary.”
  • Airing weeknights at 10 p.m., “El Dragón” attracted 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 463,000 Adults 18-49 and 192,000 Adults 18-34 on the Univision network. With week-over-week audience gains of +4%, the series also drew in more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of ABC’s “Stumptown;” CBS’ “Evil,” “God Befriended Me,” “Madam Secretary,” “S.W.A.T.” and “Seal Team;” NBC’s “Blacklist,” “Bluff City Law,” “Perfect Harmony” and “Will & Grace;” and The CW’s “Arrow,” “Batwoman,” “Charmed,” “Dynasty,” “Legacies,” “Nancy Drew,” “Riverdale,” “Supergirl” and “Supernatural.”
