UniMás Outperforms The CW for Entire Night on Sunday By Double-To-Triple Digits Among All Key Demos

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 2, 2019 to September 8, 2019

  • For the entire week, UniMás delivered week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 335,000), Adults 18-49 (+7% to 152,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% to 67,000).
  • UniMás also increased its primetime audience year-over-year among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 335,000).
  • On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+169% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+292% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Biker Boyz” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: Armored,” marking the second consecutive Sunday that it has outperformed The CW among Adults 18-34. The Sunday night movie-lineup also delivered double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+56% to 537,000), Adults 18-49 (+64% to 290,000) and Adults 18-34 (+76% to 141,000) to the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • In its premiere week, UniMás’ “Enamorándonos” averaged 252,000 Total Viewers 2+, 101,000 Adults 18-49 and 43,000 Adults 18-34.
  • UniMás’ 9 p.m. series, “Apocalipsis” averaged its second highest-rated weekly performance since its premiere with double-digit week-to-week audience gains among Adults 18-34 (+12% to 46,000), marking the second consecutive week of audience growth with Adults 18-34.
  • For the third consecutive week, UniMás’ weeknight 10 p.m. news program, “Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna” increased its audience by double-digits week-to-week among Adults 18-34 (+26% to 49,000), averaging its second highest-rated weekly performance on the UniMás network.
  • Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Knowing” and “Cineplex: Final Destination 5,” UniMás increased its Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 434,000), Adults 18-49 (+14% to 202,000) and Adults 18-34 (+40% to 88,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+23% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+71% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+81% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
