UniMás Delivers Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in the Current 2018/2019 Season with Second Consecutive Week of Audience Growth Across All Key Demos

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 24, 2019 to June 30, 2019

  • UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly performance during primetime in the current 2018/2019 season with 536,000 Total Viewers 2+, 251,000 Adults 18-49 and 119,000 Adults 18-34.
  • For the second consecutive week, UniMás delivered week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 536,000), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 251,000) and Adults 18-34 (+13% to 119,000).
  • For the second consecutive week, UniMás delivered double-digit year-over-year growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% to 536,000), Adults 18-49 (+17% to 251,000) and Adults 18-34 (+28% to 119,000).
  • On Monday night, UniMás’ airing of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Haiti vs. Costa Rica” delivered audience growth to the network’s 8:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Adults 18-34 (+4% to 165,000).
  • On Tuesday night, UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire night by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+78% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+115% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+163% adv.) with the special live coverage of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Jamaica vs. Curacao” and “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Honduras vs. El Salvador.”
    • Jamaica vs. Curacao delivered double-to-triple digit audience growth to the network’s 7:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+84% to 828,000), Adults 18-49 (+82% to 389,000) and Adults 18-34 (+137% to 185,000).
    • Honduras vs. El Salvador delivered 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 707,000 Adults 18-49 and 337,000 Adults 18-34. It was the fifth most-watched program on broadcast television with more Adults 18-49 and Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of The CW’s “The Hundred”, CBS’s “Blood and Treasure” and Telemundo’s “Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar,” “Un Poquito Tuyo” and “Betty En NY.”
  • Driven by the special live coverage of “CONCACAF Copa Oro 2019: Panamá vs. Estados Unidos” on Wednesday night, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+62% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+67% adv.).
    • Panamá vs. Estados Unidos delivered 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 552,000 Adults 18-49 and 259,000 Adults 18-34. It ranked among the top 10 most-watched program on broadcast television with more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of The CW’s “Jane The Virgin”, ABC’s “Card Sharks” and “Match Game”, FOX’s “First Responders Live” and Telemundo’s “Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar,” “Un Poquito Tuyo” and “Decisión 2020 Debate Presidencial.”
  • For the sixth consecutive Sunday, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Adults 18-49 (+74% adv.; 216,000 vs. 124,000) and Adults 18-34 (+144% adv.; 110,000 vs. 45,000) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: The Wolverine.”
  • Driven by Saturday night’s airing of “Cineplex: Troy,” UniMás increased its Saturday 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-digits among Adults 18-49 (+13% to 155,000) and Adults 18-34 (+28% to 69,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+131% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+254% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+396% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
