UniMás Delivers Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in the Current 2018/2019 Season Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

“Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna” Grows Time Period +36% Among Total Viewers 2+ Since May Debut

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of June 3, 2019 to June 9, 2019

  • UniMás delivered its highest-rated weekly performance during primetime in the current 2018/2019 season with 475,000 Total Viewers 2+ and 217,000 Adults 18-49.
  • For the entire week, UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+16% to 475,000), Adults 18-49 (+25% to 217,000) and Adults 18-34 (+30% to 82,000).
  • On Wednesday night, UniMás outperformed The CW for the entire night by double-to-triple digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+98% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+175% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+195% adv.) with the special live coverage of “Selección Estados Unidos: Estados Unidos vs. Jamaica” and “Selección Mexico: Mexico vs. Venezuela.”
    • Estados Unidos vs. Jamaica delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+51% to 376,000) and Adults 18-49 (+35% to 172,000).
    • Mexico vs. Venezuela delivered 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 688,000 Adults 18-49 and 307,000 Adults 18-34. It ranked among the top 10 most-watched programs on broadcast television with more Adult 18-34 viewers than the entire original primetime line-up on The CW (“My Last Days” and “Jane The Virgin”) as well as first-run episodes of CBS’ “NCIS: The Cases They Can’t Forget,” NBC’s “The InBetween,” FOX’s “MasterChef,” and Telemundo’s “Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar” and “Un Poquito Tuyo.”
  • For the third consecutive Sunday, UniMás out-delivered The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+136% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+215% adv.) with a line-up that included “Cine De Las Estrellas: Mission: Impossible, Ghost Protocol” and “Cine De Las Estrellas: Minority Report.” The Sunday night movie-lineup averaged 472,000 Total Viewers 2+, 233,000 Adults 18-49 and 76,000 Adults 18-34.
  • UniMás’ “Inseparables, Amor Al Límite” has increased the network’s 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period since its premiere among Adults 18-49 (+4% to 124,000) and Adults 18-34 (+10% to 57,000) compared to the prior four weeks. The reality series attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 262,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% to 126,000) versus the previous week.
  • Since its premiere, UniMás’ “Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna” has increased the weeknight 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time period among Total Viewers 2+ (+36% to 293,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% to 108,000) compared to the prior four weeks. The news program also delivered week-over-week audience growth among Adults 18-34 (+6% to 38,000).
  • UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. comedy block (“Vecinos,” “Nosotros Los Guapos” and “40 y 20”) increased its audience by double-digits week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 172,000).
  • UniMás’ Friday night airing of “Cineplex: Catwoman,” increased its Friday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. time period week-to-week by double-to-triple digits among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 261,000), Adults 18-49 (+66% to 128,000) and Adults 18-34 (+104% to 51,000).
  • Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including, “Cineplex: Exploding Sun” and “Cineplex: The Expendables,” UniMás increased its Saturday 7:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. time period week-to-week among Adults 18-49 (+5% to 151,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+86% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+149% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+116% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
