Live Coverage of Liga MX Featuring Veracruz vs. América Doubles UniMás’ Time Period Audience Levels on Friday Night Across All Key Demos

  • On Wednesday night, UniMás’ special live coverage of CONCACAF Champions League Final: Monterrey vs. Tigres UANL delivered triple-digit audience growth to the network’s 9:30 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+464% to 914,000), Adults 18-49 (+413% to 457,000) and Adults 18-34 (+543% to 193,000). Monterrey vs. Tigres UANL was the fourth most-watched program on broadcast television regardless of language among Adult 18-34 viewers.
  • On Friday night, UniMás’ airing of LIGA MX Clausura 2019: Veracruz vs. América delivered triple-digit audience growth to the network’s 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. time period versus the previous week among Total Viewers 2+ (+359% to 564,000), Adults 18-49 (+343% to 306,000) and Adults 18-34 (+348% to 112,000).
  • UniMás delivered double-digit week-over-week audience growth during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 359,000) and also among Adults 18-49 (+1% to 173,000).
  • On Monday night, UniMás’ movie presentation of “Cineplex: The Expendables” delivered double-digit audience gains among Adults 18-34 (+12% to 65,000) to the networks’ 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week.
  • UniMás’ 10 p.m. comedy block delivered audience gains to the network’s 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. time period versus the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 154,000) with a line-up that included “Vecinos” on Monday, “Mi Lista De Exes” on Tuesday and “Simon Dice” on Thursday.
  • Driven by Saturday night’s movie line-up including “Cineplex: In The Heart Of The Sea” and “Cineplex: Unthinkable,” UniMás increased its Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. time period week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 388,000), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 174,000) and Adults 18-34 (+14% to 82,000).
  • UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+31% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+77% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+69% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.
