NEW YORK – AUGUST 1, 2018 – Univision’s radio stations scored major victories during the second quarter of 2018 across top U.S. markets, driven by Univision’s best-in-class programming and the strength of the company’s Regional Mexican format. Beating out all other radio competitors in Chicago, Qué Buena WOJO 105.1 ranks No. 1 among Adults 18-49, regardless of language, during the Total Week, Morning, Midday and Evening Drive dayparts. In Miami, “La Gozadera with Los Pichy Boys” ranks as the No. 1 Morning Drive show among Adults 18-34, regardless of language.
Univision’s Qué Buena stations in Dallas (KLNO 94.1) and Houston (KLTN 102.9), rank as the No. 1 Spanish-Language radio stations among Adults 18-49, in their cities ahead of all other competitors driven by the popular sounds of Regional Mexican music. Univision’s Spanish-language adult contemporary music station in Los Angeles (K-Love 107.5) also ranks as No. 1 in its market among Adults 18-49.
In Total Week, Qué Buena in San Antonio (KROM 92.9), San Diego (KLNV 106.5) and the Bay Area (KSOL 98.9 & 99.1) rank as the No. 1 Spanish-Language radio stations in their respective markets.
Univision’s morning drive content continues to shine in the second quarter of 2018:
- “El Show de Raul Brindis” remains the market leader, ranking as the No. 1 Spanish-language morning show in San Antonio and Houston, while also positioning as No. 1, regardless of language, in the San Antonio area.
- In Miami, “La Gozadera with Los Pichy Boys” is the No. 1 morning show, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34.
- In Los Angeles, “El Show de Omar y Argelia” ranks No. 1, outperforming all other Spanish-language competitors in the market.
- “El Bueno, La Mala, y El Feo” ranks as the No. 1 Spanish-language morning show in Chicago, Dallas and the Bay Area. Year-to-date in San Diego, the show is the No. 1 Morning Drive show, regardless of language.
