Twenty years after the September 11 terrorist attack, Univision News presents a 9/11 commemorative special, as the country comes together to remember and honor the legacy and courage of the victims, and of those who gave their lives to save others.
Univision’s team will cover the events from the different sites in which the attacks took place on September 11: the reflecting pools that sit where the two towers once soared; Shanksville, PA, where the heroic crew and passengers of Flight 93 went down, and from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Univision’s coverage will also include the six key moments when the attacks occurred and how they will be honored with moments of silence that will resonate all over New York City

- How my experience with narco-terror in Colombia helped me in escaping from Ground Zero alive:the story of how a young Colombian engineer recognized that there was imminent danger and defying her bosses and even the security of the building, was able to escape with a friend moments after the first plane impacted the North Tower. She recounts her experience and talks about her life as one of the few people from her 91st floor office in the South Tower who survived the terrorist attack.
- NYC then and now:interactive photo gallery showing the evolution of Downtown Manhattan after the attacks and the efforts to rebuild the area.
