NEW YORK – JULY 7, 2021 – Univision New York, part of Univision Communications Inc., the leading Spanish-language content and media company in the U.S., today announced the appointment of Luisa Collins as Vice President, Content. Starting July 19th, Collins will oversee Univision New York’s award-winning newsroom and lead content on all of Univision New York’s linear and digital properties to inform and empower the Latino audiences in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Collins will report directly to Roberto Yanez, President and General Manager of Univision New York, and will be based in the New York metro area.

An industry veteran, Collins has over 15 years of experience in television journalism. She most recently led news operations at Entravision Communications, managing content development for local news coverage across the company’s 25 television stations positioned within major Hispanic markets across the United States. Her prior television experience also includes stints at Telemundo and Drewry Communications Group. Collins attended the University of North Texas.

NUEVA YORK –7 DE JULIO DE 2021– Univision Nueva York, parte de Univision Communications Inc., la principal empresa de contenido y medios en español en Estados Unidos, anunció hoy el nombramiento de Luisa Collins a vicepresidenta de Contenido. Comienzando en el 19 de Julio, Collins supervisará al galardonado equipo periodístico de Univision Nueva York y dirigirá el contenido en todas sus propiedades tradicionales y digitales para informar y empoderar a las audiencias latinas en Nueva York, Nueva Jersey y Connecticut. Collins trabajará directamente para Roberto Yáñez, presidente y gerente general de Univision Nueva York, desde el área metropolitana de Nueva York.

Recientemente dirigió las operaciones de noticias de Entravision Communications, donde estuvo a cargo de la creación de contenido para la cobertura de noticias locales en las 25 estaciones de televisión de la compañía, ubicadas en importantes mercados hispanos en todo Estados Unidos. Como parte de su experiencia laboral en televisión también trabajó para Telemundo y Drewry Communications Group. Collins fue a la University of North Texas.
