WHAT: Univision News launched “ActivistaZ”, a digital series that gives a voice to Generation Z and addresses feminism, the environment, racism, LGBTQ + rights and gun control. Each episode connects the story of a young, up and coming Latin American activist with the story of an established activist who has worked on the same issue for decades, presenting both where we come from and where we are going. The show is now available at UnivisionNoticias.com. New episodes will be available every Sunday.

WHO: The first episode presents the story of young Honduran feminist Marcela Arias (“In Honduras, being an activist is putting your life on the line,” she acknowledged), who has a conversastion with writer, documentary filmmaker and feminist activist Martha Cotera, who’s literary work and political activism made her play a prominet role in the U.S. in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

Univision Noticias le da voz a la Generación Z con el lanzamiento de “ActivistaZ”
QUÉ: Univision Noticias lanzó “ActivistaZ”, una serie digital que le da voz a la Generación Z y aborda el feminismo, el medio ambiente, el racismo, los derechos LGBTQ+ y el control de armas. Cada capítulo entrelaza la historia de un emergente joven activista hispanoamericano con la de un activista consolidado que lleva décadas luchando en el mismo campo, presentando así de dónde venimos y hacia dónde vamos.
