The “Investigators” Yuri, Carlos Rivera, Consuelo Duval and Adrian Uribe Will Seek to Discover the Identities of the 16 Masked Celebrities
Omar Chaparro Will host, and Kiara Liz Will Present Exclusive Content
WHAT: Family Sundays are returning to Univision with the premiere of “¿Quién Es la Máscara?” (The Masked Singer), TV’s most mysterious and hard-hitting reality show, on Sunday, August 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). After smashing audience records in Mexico, the program will air Sundays on Univision in the same timeslot.
The charismatic actor and host Omar Chaparro will present the singing competition. Yuri, Carlos Rivera, Consuelo Duval and Adrián Uribe will be part of the all-star panel of “investigators,” while “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” winner Kiara Liz will present exclusive content of the show.
“¿Quién Es la Máscara?” will capture the audience’s hearts as it introduces 16 celebrities who will have to sing in creative costumes. Led by assorted clues, the “investigators” will seek to guess what celebrity is hiding behind each mask. Among the famous participants there will be singers, actors, TV hosts, and others playing the roles of characters, such as: Bumblebee, Eagle, Chameleon, Catrina or Fancy Skeleton, Zebra, Deer, Rabbit, Rooster, Cat, Owl, Martian, Minotaur, Monster, Panda, Fish and Fox.
In every episode, there will be duels between two or more contestants. The audience will choose the best performance each week and one celebrity will be at risk of elimination. Ultimately, the panel of “investigators” will decide who will leave the show and take off the mask.

QUÉ: Los domingos en familia regresan a Univision con el estreno de “¿Quién Es la Máscara?”, el reality más misterioso e impactante de la televisión, el domingo 2 de agosto a las 8 p.m. Este/Pacífico (7 p.m. Centro). Después de haber batido récords de audiencia en México, el programa se trasmitirá todos los domingos por Univision en el mismo horario.
El carismático actor y presentador Omar Chaparro conducirá la competencia de canto. Yuri, Carlos Rivera, Consuelo Duval y Adrián Uribe formarán parte del panel estelar de “investigadores”, mientras que la ganadora de “Mira Quién Baila All Stars¨ Kiara Liz presentará contenido exclusivo del programa.
“¿Quién Es la Máscara?” cautivará al público al presentar a 16 celebridades que deberán cantar ocultando su identidad usando originales disfraces. Con la ayuda de diferentes pistas, los “investigadores” buscarán adivinar qué celebridad se encuentra oculta tras cada una de las máscaras. Entre los famosos que participan están cantantes, actores, presentadores, entre otros caracterizando a personajes como: Abejorro, Águila, Camaleón, Catrina, Cebra, Ciervo, Conejo, Gallo, Gato, Lechuza, Marciano, Minotauro, Monstruo, Panda, Pez y Zorro.
En cada emisión, habrá duelos entre dos o más contendientes. El público escogerá la mejor interpretación y el perdedor estará en zona de riesgo. Pero será el panel de “investigadores” quien tendrá la última palabra para decidir quién deberá dejar el programa y quitarse la máscara.
