UniMás69 and WQBA 1140 AM to broadcast games in 2020
MIAMI, FL – APRIL, 30, 2020 – Inter Miami CF announced today that it has partnered with Univision Miami, a part of Univision Communications Inc., to broadcast its games locally on UniMás Miami 69, WQBA 1140 AM and streamed live on Uforia and Univision 23 apps for the 2020 Major League Soccer season.
The Club will announce its full broadcast schedule when the revised Major League Soccer season is announced.

Prior to the temporary season suspension due to the coronavirus, Inter Miami had kicked off its inaugural season with two road games on March 1st at LAFC and March 7th at D.C. United. The Club continues to have many firsts ahead, including hosting its first-ever home game, debuting Inter Miami CF Stadium and producing its first locally-broadcast match with many familiar faces behind the booth.

Diego Balado (@DiegoBalado)
- The Argentine native began his soccer journalism career at 16, while enrolled in the prestigious high school “Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires”. He is widely recognized in Mexico, South and Central America for his narrations of UEFA Champions League, Euro Cup, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Liga MX, MLS, Copa Libertadores, Copa America, Gold Cup and World Cup matches for ESPN. He has been a sports commentator for Univision since 2016.
Nicolás Cantor (@Nicocantor1)
- The 25-year-old native of Argentinian and Honduran roots has covered two World Cups, three Copa Americas and countless Gold Cups amongst other important international tournaments. His areas of expertise include play-by-play, color commentary and beat reporting in both English and Spanish. Cantor began his career at 15 years old covering international friendlies and the Gold Cup. By 20, he covered his first World Cup.

- After interviewing Brazilian football legend Pele for his first-ever interview, Cherchi’s career has taken off, becoming one of Venezuela’s most respected sports journalists. The Venezuelan featured in some of his country’s top stations as Televen and Meridiano Television before joining ESPN Deportes for 11 years and becoming one of the most reliable hosts in the chain’s primetime show SportsCenter. Currently Cherchi hosts TUDN’s Mision Europa, participates in Línea de Cuatro and Futbol Central and is an analyst in various soccer tournaments including Liga MX, MLS and European competitions. His vast experience includes covering the coveted sports events like the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the NBA Finals and the MLB World Series.
Daniel Nohra (@cantogoles)
- The Venezuelan native was discovered by a local radio station after narrating his own match on PlayStation at the age of 11. A year later he began to narrate European soccer matches on radio and got his first shot at TV for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany on the regional channel Orinoco TV. Since then, Nohra has narrated the 2010 and 2014 World Cups and the 2011 Copa America tournament. In the summer of 2015, he came to the U.S. working regionally in Florida as a sports commentator. He then covered two German Bundesliga seasons prior to joining the TUDN team.
Ramses Sandoval (@RamsesSandoval)
- The California native of Mexican roots began his career as the official voice of the Chivas USA team on TV and radio. He has commentated for a vast array of soccer properties across the Italian Soccer League, Premier League, Liga MX and MLS. He has an Emmy for outstanding work with Time Warner, and in 2014, he became the first bilingual narrator of MLS games for Univision Deportes, now referred to as TUDN. Today, Ramses continues to narrate MLS games in English and Spanish for TUDN, while now also narrating U.S. MNT, Bundesliga, Copa MX and Liga MX matches. Currently, he also serves as a host in Contacto Deportivo, Somos MLS and Zona NBA.
Luis Omar Tapia (@LuisOmarTapia)
- A Chilean journalist with a long national and international career, Tapia has featured and excelled in some of Latin America’s most followed television chains. Following his career debut over 30 years ago with Telemundo Channel 13 in Hartford, CT, Tapia joined TV Azteca Mexico in 2006 where he became the first foreigner to report the Liga MX and Mexican national team matches, the Gold Cup, Copa America and UEFA Champions League. Tapia then was exclusively responsible for the UEFA Champions League in Fox Sports Latin America before bringing his talents to TUDN in 2013. Since then, the Chilean has participated in the shows Misión Europa, Línea de Cuatro, Contacto Deportivo and Futbol Central as well as has narrated the world’s best football leagues.

Inter Miami selecciona a Univision Miami como socio oficial y multiplataforma en idioma español
UniMás99 y WQBA 1140 AM transmitirán los partidos en el 2020
MIAMI, FL – 30 DE ABRIL DE 2020 – Inter Miami CF anunció hoy su asociación con Univision Miami, entidad que forma parte de Univision Communications Inc., para transmitir sus partidos a nivel local por UniMás Miami 69, WQBA 1140 AM, así como también a través de la señal en línea de Uforia y la aplicación móvil de Univision 23 durante la temporada 2020 de la Major League Soccer.
El Club anunciará el calendario completo de las transmisiones cuando se anuncie el calendario revisado de la temporada de la Major League Soccer.

Previo a la suspensión temporal de la temporada debido al coronavirus, Inter Miami dio inicio a su temporada inaugural con dos partidos en condición de visitante, el 1 de marzo contra LAFC y el 7 de marzo frente al D.C. United. Al Club le quedan muchos momentos históricos por delante, incluyendo la disputa de su primer partido en casa, la apertura oficial del Inter Miami CF Stadium y la producción de su primera transmisión local con muchas caras conocidas dentro de la cabina de transmisión.

Ha sido comentarista deportivo para Univision desde el ańo 2016.

- El periodista de 25 años de origen argentino y hondureño ha cubierto dos Copas del Mundo, tres Copas América e innumerables Copas de Oro, entre otros torneos internacionales importantes. Sus áreas de especialización incluyen comentar y narrar partidos, así como también reportar en inglés y español. Cantor inició su carrera a sus 15 años cubriendo amistosos internacionales y la Copa de Oro. Cuando tenía 20 años cubrió su primera Copa del Mundo.

- Después de entrevistar a Pelé, exjugador brasileño leyenda del fútbol mundial, la carrera de Cherchi despegó, convirtiéndose en uno de los periodistas deportivos más respetados de Venezuela. El venezolano figuró en algunas de las principales estaciones de su país, como Televen y Meridiano Televisión, antes de unirse a ESPN Deportes, manteniéndose allí por 11 años mientras se convertía en uno de los presentadores más regulares del programa estelar de la cadena, SportsCenter. Actualmente, Cherchi presenta Misión Europa y participa en los programas Línea de Cuatro y Fútbol Central y es analista de varias competencias de fútbol, incluyendo la Liga MX, la MLS y competiciones del continente europeo. Su vasta experiencia incluye la cobertura de eventos deportivos mayores como la Copa Mundial de la FIFA, la UEFA Champions League, Finales de la NBA y la Serie Mundial de la MLB.

- El venezolano fue descubierto por una estación de radio local luego de narrar su propio partido en PlayStation cuando tenía 11 años. Un año después comenzó a narrar partidos de competencias europeas en la radio. Tuvo su primera oportunidad en la televisión para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA Alemania 2006 en el canal regional Orinoco TV. Desde entonces, Nohra ha narrado las Copas del Mundo del 2010 y 2014 y la Copa América del 2011. En el verano del 2015, vino a los Estados Unidos para trabajar regionalmente en Florida como comentarista deportivo. Posteriormente cubrió dos temporadas de la Bundesliga alemana antes de unirse al equipo de TUDN.

- El oriundo de California con raíces mexicanas dio inicio a su carrera siendo la voz oficial del equipo Chivas USA en televisión y radio. Ha comentado partidos de la Serie A italiana, la Premier League inglesa, la Liga MX y la MLS para diversas cadenas. Recibió un Emmy por su excelente trabajo para Time Warner, y en 2014 se convirtió en el primer narrador bilingüe en narrar partidos de la MLS para Univision, ahora llamada TUDN. Actualmente, Ramses continúa narrando partidos de la MLS en inglés y español para TUDN, mientras que también narra partidos de la selección nacional masculina de los Estados Unidos, la Copa MX y la Liga MX. Además, es presentador en Contacto Deportivo, Somos MLS y Zona NBA.
Luis Omar Tapia (@LuisOmarTapia)
- Periodista chileno con una larga trayectoria nacional e internacional, Tapia ha aparecido y se ha destacado en algunas de las cadenas de televisión más seguidas de América Latina. Después de su debut profesional hace más de 30 años con Telemundo Channel 13 en Hartford, CT, Tapia se unió a TV Azteca en 2006, en donde se convirtió en el primer extranjero en reportar partidos de la Liga MX y la selección mexicana, así como también de la Copa de Oro, la Copa América y la UEFA Champions League. Posteriormente Tapia fue el encargado de la UEFA Champions League para Fox Sports Latinoamérica antes de llevar su talento a TUDN en 2013.
