Matches to Include Spanish-language Commentary by TUDN Talent in a Condensed 60-Minute Format
Begins Today at 12:00 p.m. ET with 2015 UCL Final Between Juventus-FC Barcelona
MIAMI, APRIL 13, 2020 – TUDN, the undisputed Home of Soccer in the U.S., today announced that the network will air a collection of the most memorable matches from the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Euro Cup and UEFA Europa League archives with exclusive Spanish-language play-by-play and commentary provided by TUDN. Beginning today at noon ET, and continuing each weekday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET, TUDN will deliver condensed versions of historic UEFA clashes kicking off this week with the 2015 UEFA Champions League final featuring Juventus vs. FC Barcelona played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.
The full slate of matches airing this week will include:
- Juventus vs. FC Barcelona(6-6-2015) airs Monday, 4/13 at 12:00 p.m. ET: After winning their respective League and Domestic Cup, Juventus and Barcelona clashed in the Champions League Final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Led by its trident (Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar Jr.), the Spanish squad took on la Vecchia Signora who were entering the match riding momentum after eliminating Real Madrid in the semifinal round.
- FC Bayern Munichvs. Chelsea (5-19-2012) airs Tuesday, 4/14 at 12:00 p.m. ET: The historic match took place at the Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich. Chelsea, following a manager change during its Round of 16 matchup versus Napoli, defeated Benfica in the quarters and then took down defending champion Barcelona in the semis before upsetting Die Bayern at home to become the first-ever London club to win the UEFA Champions League title.
- FC Bayern Munichvs. Inter Milan (5-22-2010) airs Wednesday, 4/15 at 12:00 p.m. ET: After defeating fan favorites Barcelona in the semifinal round, Inter Milan, led by manager Jose Mourinho, faced off against Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The match would mark Mourinho’s final game with Inter.
- AC Milanvs. Liverpool FC (5-23-2007) airs Thursday, 4/16 at 12:00 p.m. ET: In a rematch of the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final, AC Milan would meet Liverpool at Olympic Stadium in Athens, seeking revenge following its heartbreaking loss to the Reds in penalties in Istanbul, Turkey two years prior.
- Juventusvs. AC Milan (5-28-2003) airs Friday, 4/17 at 12:00 p.m. ET: Taking place at Old Trafford in Manchester England, the 2003 UEFA Champions League Final made history, becoming the first-ever final between two clubs from Italy. The match between the two Italian titans would unfold as a defensive match for the ages with the bitter rivals needing penalties to decide the winner.
