Leading Business and Technology Experts will Guide Aspiring Business Owners Through a Series of Informative Workshops
HOUSTON – SEPTEMBER 5, 2019 – Univision Houston, part of Univision Communications Inc., the leading Hispanic media company in the U.S., has announced the return of the 2nd annual POSiBLE HTX Entrepreneur Expo, a one-day event to empower aspiring business owners to practically develop their ideas and grow their businesses. Attendees will learn from top entrepreneurs and self-made professionals about how to plan, finance, structure, grow and launch their small business. POSiBLE HTX takes place on Saturday, September 7 at Bayou City Event Center, located at 9401 Knight Rd. in Houston. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with the event running from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Designed with the Latino entrepreneur in mind, POSiBLE HTX focuses on five main topics: Plan It, Finance It, Structure It, Grow It and Inspire. It also offers attendees access to critical resources, including new products, tools and platforms. Participants will hear keynotes from successful business leaders and have the opportunity to learn from a variety of local partners. Rising entrepreneurs will walk away inspired, motivated and equipped with tools to succeed.
As the presenting sponsor for POSiBLE HTX 2019, Wells Fargo will host a workshop and several panels during the summit.
- “Managing Business Credit” – Workshop will discuss the steps to build a stronger credit profile as a business owner
- “Candid Conversations” – Panel will feature 1ocal Latino business leaders Nelly Quijano, owner and operator of McDonalds; Joel Garcia, owner and operator of Sonic; Alex Lopez Negrete, Owner of Lopez Negrete Agency; and Miguel Posada, Wells Fargo financial advisor. The panel will discuss their successful climb to the top, hurdles they overcame, common banking and finance struggles, and tips and lessons learned along the way.
- “Small Business Lending via Community Development Financial Institutions,” – Panel will feature local financial NPOs discussing alternative funding sources.
- Nely Galán, Founder of the Adelante Movement, will deliver a keynote address titled “Nelly Galan y Adelante América” that focuses on inspiring the audience to help them to be rich in every way, with a very clear vision for their mission and their money”
- Financial expert Julie Stav of Julie Stav Inc. will deliver a keynote address on using your smartphone to grow your business.
- Best-selling entrepreneur Carlos Marquez will give a keynote address titled “La Nueva Era del Comercio en Tiempos de Cambios (The New Era of Business During Times of Change) on how entrepreneurs can take the first step to build their own business without failing in the process.
- Raul Peimbert, anchor for Noticias 45, will moderate a discussion titled “Conversaciones Candidas” (Candid Conversations).
- Noticias 45 Edición Digital Houston hosts Osvaldo Corral and Laura Sierra will lead a discussion titled “Redes Sociales y Digital” (Social & Digital Media).

HOUSTON –5 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2019 –Univision Houston, parte de Univision Communications Inc., la principal empresa de medios de comunicación dirigidos a los hispanos en Estados Unidos, anunció el retorno del 2do Expo Empresarial Anual POSiBLE HTX, un evento de un día para empoderar a empresarios y ayudarlos a desarrollar sus ideas de manera práctica y expandir sus negocios. Los asistentes aprenderán de conocidos empresarios y exitosos profesionales sobre cómo planificar, financiar, estructurar, lanzar y expandir su pequeña empresa. POSiBLE HTX tendrá lugar el sábado, 7 de setiembre en el Bayou City Event Center, ubicado en 9401 Knight Rd. en Houston.
