Univision’s “Premios Juventud” Unites Major Sponsors for the Most-Anticipated Celebration of the Summer

MIAMI – JULY 17, 2019 – Univision, the leading Hispanic media company in the U.S., today announced major sponsors for its 16th edition of “Premios Juventud” (Youth Awards), the summer’s celebration of the best in pop culture, music, fashion, television and social media. For this year’s show Boost Mobile and Mondelēz International join returning partners Coca-Cola, Jeep, M&M’s®, T-Mobile and Universal Pictures to empower Latino youth to become leaders for change and honor the artists paying it forward by making an impact in their communities. “Premios Juventud” kicks off Thursday, July 18, live from Watsco Center in Miami with the “PJ Takeover” at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT). The broadcast will feature an unprecedented, all-star lineup including Anuel AA, Karol G, IAMCHINO, RKM & Ken-Y, Reykon, Tito El Bambino, Maluma, Pitbull, Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha, Romeo Santos and Christian Nodal, among many others.

Coca-Cola: Returning to “Premios Juventud” for the third consecutive year, Coca-Cola is motivating fans to make the most of their summer through amazing experiences and making a difference in their communities. In celebration of such exemplary individuals, Coca-Cola will partner with Natti Natasha to recognize an Agent of Change within the main show. Continuing the celebration on Despierta America the following morning, the Agent of Change will be joined by social influencer HeyItsPriscila to recap their journey through PJ.


Elevating the fan experience, Coca-Cola will host a pre-show activation for guests as they arrive to the Watsco Center for the hottest party of the summer. Complete with interactive photo-ops, sampling stations, meet and greets with talent including Natti Natasha, Pipe Bueno and HeyItsPriscila, and the sounds of Univision’s very own DJ Vela and Liliani Gonzalez, attendees will be encouraged to arrive early and make this the most memorable summer ever.


M&M’S Chocolate Candies: Now on its third year, M&M’S returns to “Premios Juventud” with My Música VIP 3.0, a music platform flying fans out for exclusive VIP experiences at Univision’s hottest music properties since 2017. New this year, M&M’S gets behind the chocolate-hazelnut spread craze with their latest flavor launch – M&M’S Hazelnut Spread. To promote this delicious new candy and the My Música VIP sweepstakes, M&M’S has partnered with PJ co-host Lali and award-winning producers Play N Skillz, to take to social media to get nutty…hazelnutty. With everyone looking to get their hands on this new flavor, fans will have to tune in to PJ to see the lengths Lali will go to protect her favorite new M&M’S.


Mondelēz International: Univision has partnered with OREO and Sour Patch Kids to help celebrate the summer’s biggest Latin Music night, supporting and recognizing the incredible music, talent and passion being honored. As part of a year-long campaign to reach and connect with the Latin community, the snack brands hope to inspire both talent and fans to Vive al Ritmo de tu Antojo. OREO will present the BEST LOL award and Sour Patch Kids will bring a little mischief, both with the help of Mondelez International brand ambassador and three-time 2019 PJ nominee Sebastian Yatra.


T-Mobile: T-Mobile returns to “Premios Juventud” for the seventh year to bring fans more of what they love with exclusive content from top artist, CNCO. To celebrate CNCO’s next step in their musical career as not only performers but hosts of “Premios Juventud,” Univision and T-Mobile will bring music fans a one-of-a-kind look at CNCO’s journey to fame, from their roots to their present-day success. Through unique and personal social content that only T-Mobile can deliver to fans, CNCO will reflect on their origins and the motivations that have brought them to this point in their careers–both individually and collectively as CNCO. These social pieces will give fans more of what they love-more music, more content, more top artists, and, most importantly, #MasPJ.


On the day of “Premios Juventud,” CNCO will take to the stage in an in-show Magenta Moment as they perform their new hit song, “De Cero.” The group will reveal a special surprise for fans on social immediately following the show, brought to them exclusively by T-Mobile. To top it all off, UCN Influencer and PJ nominee Sebastian Villalobos returns as T-Mobile’s social ambassador at “Premios Juventud.” Villalobos will bring fans exclusive content from the on-site Magenta Studio throughout “Premios Juventud” and take to the stage during the show to introduce CNCO’s in-show musical performance. He will also reflect on his roots, bringing fans inside his career trajectory from his origins in Colombia to his current influencer career, through exclusive memories and snapshots shared on social.


Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw: Universal Pictures has enlisted Latin music sensation and six-time 2019 PJ award nominee Anuel AA for an original live musical performance inspired by the highly-anticipated motion picture Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, in theatres August 2. During this one night only performance, Anuel AA will bring two of the movie’s biggest set pieces to life, showcasing live on stage the differences between the action-packed worlds of the film’s two main protagonists.


Along with the high-octane, multi-platform activations being unveiled at the event, brands Boost Mobile and Jeep will be exclusively featured on-air during PJ. The brands will be highlighted in the broadcast through Univision’s premium ad innovations within split screen and countdown positions.
