Univision Ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-Language Network during Primetime for the Sixth Consecutive Week among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+

Univision’s New Epic Drama “Rey David” Captivates Audience as the No. 1 Spanish-Language Program in the 8pm Hour

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 11, 2017 to December 17, 2017

For the sixth consecutive week, Univision ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-language network during primetime, out-delivering its closest competitor by double-digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+26% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+11% adv.) as well as for the fifth consecutive week among Adults 18-34 (+8% adv.).

Univision captured the No. 1 Spanish-language network ranking in the weeknight 8pm and 9pm hour, surpassing its closest competitor by double-digit margins.

  • Premiering its new epic drama in the 8pm hour, “Rey David” delivered 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 737,000 Adults 18-49 and 311,000 Adults 18-34. “Rey David” reported +51% advantage over its closest competitor with both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and attracted +59% more Total Viewers 2+.
  • Univision’s 9pm dramedy “Mi Marido Tiene Familia” (My Husband Has a Family) helped Univision sustain its No. 1 Spanish-language network in the hour with 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 724,000 Adults 18-49 and 327,000 Adults 18-34.

Saturday night’s “Premios Bandamax” award show attracted 863,000 Total Viewers 2+, 360,000 Adults 18-49 and 167,000 Adults 18-34. “Premios Bandamax” helped position Univision as the No. 4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, outperforming both ABC (+22%) and CBS (+10%) by double-digit margins.

Airing the “Premios Deportes” sports award show on Sunday night, Univision attracted 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 454,000 Adults 18-49 and 154,000 Adults 18-34.
