ROSELYN SÁNCHEZ, JOHNNY LOZADA AND POTY CASTILLO NAMED JUDGES FOR SEASON 5 OF “MIRA QUIÉN BAILA”
The Hit Dance Competition Returns to Univision on Sunday, September 17
MIAMI – SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 – Season five of Univision’s megahit dance competition “Mira Quién Baila” (Look Who’s Dancing) debuts on September 17. Today, the network announced that Puerto Rican actress and dancer Roselyn Sánchez, TV personality Johnny Lozada and Spanish choreographer Javier “Poty” Castillo will serve as judges. As 10 of the most popular Latino entertainers show off their dance moves, the judges will determine the finalists for viewers to eventually vote on to win a $50,000 donation to the charity of their choice.
Multitalented Roselyn Sánchez, popular among Hispanic and non-Hispanic audiences alike as actress in “Rush Hour 2,” Without a Trace” and “The Game Plan,” got her start as a dancer and model in Puerto Rico. This year, while awaiting the birth of her second child, she and her husband, Eric Winter, co-wrote a children’s book titled “Sebi and the Land of Cha Cha Cha.”
Johnny Lozada returns to MQB as a judge after winning the show’s fourth season. The beloved TV personality started his career with Puerto Rican boy band Menudo and recently, he participated as judge of Univision’s hit children’s competition “Pequeños Gigantes” (Little Giants).
Poty Castillo is one of the biggest names in dance. He knows the MQB format well, since he choreographed previous seasons. Castillo began his career studying ballet in Spain and went on to work on projects ranging from helping the Spanish women’s rhythmic gymnastics team win a world championship to choreographing Enrique Iglesias’s “Bailamos” European tour. He has also worked with artists from Celia Cruz to Mariah Carey, as well as hosting hit programs on Spanish TV.
Season five of “Mira Quién Baila” will air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on the Univision Network beginning September 17. Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza will return as hosts, while Jomari Goyso will report from behind the scenes. The season will be choreographed by Rodrigo Basurto.

La popular competencia de baile regresa a Univision el domingo, 17 de septiembre
MIAMI – 1 DE SETIEMBRE DE 2017 – La quinta temporada de la popularísima competencia de baile de Univision “Mira Quién Baila” se estrena el 17 de septiembre. Hoy, la cadena anunció que la actriz y bailarina puertorriqueña Roselyn Sánchez, la celebridad de la televisión Johnny Lozada y el coreógrafo español Javier “Poty” Castillo serán los jueces. Diez de las más populares celebridades latinas del entretenimiento demostrarán su talento para el baile y los jueces decidirán quiénes son los finalistas por quienes los espectadores pueden votar para determinar quién ganará la donación de $50,000 para la causa benéfica de su preferencia.
La polifacética Roselyn Sánchez, popular con audiencias latinas e internacionales como actriz de “Rush Hour 2”, Without a Trace” y “The Game Plan”, inició su carrera como bailarina y modelo en Puerto Rico. Este año, mientras esperaba el nacimiento de su segundo hijo, ella y su esposo Eric Winter, escribieron un libro para niños titulado “Sebi and the Land of Cha Cha Cha”.
Johnny Lozada retorna a MQB en calidad de juez tras ganar la cuarta temporada del programa. La popular celebridad de la televisión empezó su carrera en Puerto Rico como parte del grupo musical Menudo y recientemente participó como juez en el exitoso concurso infantil “Pequeños Gigantes”.
Poty Castillo es uno de los más famosos nombres en el mundo de la danza. Conoce el formato de MQB bien porque fue el coreógrafo en temporadas previas. Castillo inició su carrera estudiando ballet en España y luego trabajó en diversos proyectos, como la coreografía para el equipo español de gimnasia rítmica que ayudó a ganar el campeonato mundial, y la coreografía de “Bailamos” para la gira europea de Enrique Iglesias. También trabajó con artistas como Celia Cruz y Mariah Carey, y fue el presentador de exitosos programas de televisión española.
La quinta temporada de “Mira Quién Baila” se trasmitirá los domingos a las 8 p.m. Este/Pacífico (7 p.m. Centro) por la Cadena Univision desde el 17 de setiembre. Chiquinquirá Delgado y Javier Poza volverán a ser los presentadores, y Jomari Goyso reportará detrás del escenario. La temporada contará con la coreografía de Rodrigo Basurto.
