Memo Villegas, Natalia Téllez, Marimar Vega, Diana Carreiro, Sebastián Zurita, Norma Angélica and Alejandro Cuétara Star in the ViX Original Series
MIAMI – MAY 23, 2024 –ViX, the leading Spanish-language streaming service in the world, announced today that its new comedy PROFE INFILTRADO will premiere on June 7 and unveiled the trailer and official key art. The eight episodes will be available all at once on premiere day exclusively on the service’s premium tier. In addition, the first episode will be available to sample on ViX’s free plan.
The new original comedy stars Memo Villegas (“Sobreviviendo mis XV,” “Harina”), Natalia Téllez (“Quiero tu vida,” ” Amores permitidos”), Marimar Vega (“Dra. Lucía: un don extraordinario,” “El juego de las llaves”), Diana Carreiro (“Señora influencer,” “Supertitlán”), Sebastián Zurita (“Tequila Re-Pasado,” “El juego de las llaves”), Norma Angélica (“Se Llamaba Pedro Infante,” ” Mi maestra se comió a mi amigo”), and Alejandro Cuétara (“El colapso,” “MexZombies”).
PROFE INFILTRADO tells the story of Julián, an easy-going young man who has never known any world other than that of small-time crime. His family works for the ring of smuggled appliances led by Don Rafael Ochando, the King of the Black Market. Julian’s lack of vocation for crime and sensitive personality have relegated him to minor jobs. One day, while delivering merchandise, Julián falls into the hands of Commander Aurelio Maldonado, the head of the underfunded anti-smuggling division of the police, who has political ambitions and is eager to make a big arrest. In exchange for not putting Julián and his mother in jail, he forces Julian to work as an informant in the Ochando organization, infiltrating him as a physical education teacher at the Cuévano Institute, the private school were Don Rafael’s daughter, Paola, studies. Julián’s mission is to obtain evidence that Don Rafael is using the school as a clandestine warehouse and to get close to Paola to make her incriminate her father. Thus, enabling the ambitious Comandante to arrest him and dismantle the organization. What Julian didn’t see coming is that he would develop a nice friendship with Ochando’s daughter as well as feelings for an idealistic literature teacher, which puts him in an even more compromising situation.
The series, which offers an exciting mix of classic humor, innovative narrative, and outstanding performances, is a production of Campanario Entertainment. PROFE INFILTRADO, adapted and written by Jaime Muñoz de Baena, Andreína Borges, Fernando Rasé, and Sofia Morfín was directed by Miguel Necoechea and Alfonso Pineda. Jaime Muñoz, Sergio Agüero, Jaime Dávila and Diana Mejia-Jones are the executive producers of the series.

MIAMI – 23 DE MAYO DE 2024 – ViX, el servicio de streaming en español líder en el mundo, anunció hoy que su nueva comedia PROFE INFILTRADO se estrenará el 7 de junio y reveló el tráiler y póster oficial. Los ocho episodios estarán disponibles el día del estreno exclusivamente en el nivel premium del servicio. Además, se podrá ver el primer episodio en el plan gratuito de ViX.
Los protagonistas de la nueva comedia original son Memo Villegas (“Sobreviviendo mis XV”, “Harina”), Natalia Téllez (“Quiero tu vida”, ” Amores permitidos”), Marimar Vega (“Dra. PROFE INFILTRADO cuenta la historia de Julián, un tipo bueno y soñador que nunca ha conocido otro mundo que no sea el de la delincuencia. Su familia trabaja para una red de contrabando de electrodomésticos comandada por Don Rafael Ochando, el Rey de la Fayuca, pero su falta de vocación para el crimen y su personalidad sensible lo ha relegado a trabajos menores como repartidor de mercancía. Un día, mientras cubre su ruta de repartidor, Julián cae en las manos del comandante Aurelio Maldonado, jefe de la división anti-contrabando de la policía, que a cambio de no meter a Julián y a su mamá a la cárcel lo obliga a trabajar como informante en la organización de los Ochando, infiltrándolo como maestro de educación física al Instituto Cuévano, la escuela privada en la que estudia la hija de Don Rafael, Paola Ochando. La misión de Julián es conseguir pruebas de que Don Rafael está usando la escuela como bodega clandestina y acercarse a Paola para intentar que incrimine a su papá y así poder arrestarlo y desmantelar el negocio. Lo que el profe no se vio venir es que terminará creando una linda amistad con la hija de Ochando, lo cual lo pone en una situación aún más comprometedora.
La serie, que ofrece una emocionante mezcla de humor clásico, narrativas innovadoras y actuaciones destacadas, es una producción de Campanario Entertianment.
