Miami, FL. – April 24, 2024 – The ninth edition of the highly anticipated 2024 LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS is just around the corner. Under the theme, ‘We Speak Música,’ this year’s event will make history as the first major U.S. award show to present a bilingual broadcast. Hosted by the pop legend Thalia, multi-platinum star Becky G, actress and TV personality Alejandra Espinoza, and singer-songwriter and television host Carlos Ponce, this star-studded celebration promises thrilling premieres, mesmerizing performances, and captivating musical collaborations live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

WHEN AND WHERE TO WATCH THE AWARDS
The 2024 Latin AMAs will be simulcast on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, and ViX starting with the pre-show “Noche de Famosos” at 7:00 p.m. ET. Additionally, fans can enjoy an exclusive second-screen experience on Univision’s YouTube channel featuring a unique live stream showcasing all the behind-the-scenes action on the night of the Latin AMAs from 6:30-11:00 p.m. ET.
WHAT’S NEW ABOUT THE PRE-SHOW
This year, Univision will offer audiences a never-before-seen experience with the launch of a new and reimagined pre-show experience “Noche de Famosos” starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. The pre-show will take viewers behind-the-scenes during one of the biggest nights in music, offering in-depth interviews and real-time interactions with your favorite stars – all available across various TelevisaUnivision platforms, allowing the audience unprecedented access to all the action surrounding the night with multiplatform coverage.

SPECIAL AWARDS
The ninth edition of the LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS will celebrate award-winning Mexican group Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga and legendary Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner with the prestigious Latin AMA Legacy Award, acknowledging their remarkable musical careers. Additionally, Reggaeton icon Yandel will be honored with the Latin AMA Pioneer Award for his contributions to the urban genre.
THIS YEAR’S NOMINEES
Urban genre star Feid and Mexican music sensation Peso Pluma lead the list with 12 nominations each. They are followed by Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera with 11, Karol G and Shakira with 9 nominations, and Eslabon Armado and Fuerza Regida with 8. Here’s the complete list of nominees.
