Miami, FL. – April 4, 2024 – The ninth edition of the LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS (LATIN AMAs) promises to be an extraordinary night, with the announcement of the first list of confirmed stars that will perform at the prestigious awards show. Renowned DJ Deorro, multi-platinum Puerto Rican singer Farruko, Mexican rising star Gabito Ballesteros, urban music’s romantic voice Jay Wheeler, Mexican music sensation Peso Pluma, singer-songwriter Justin Quiles, and rapper Yng Lvcas will bring unforgettable musical performances to the stage of the LATIN AMAs avaliable to stream on ViX and airing on Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión on April 25 starting at 7p/6c live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Mexican music will be well represented by worldwide sensation Peso Pluma who returns to the stage of the LATIN AMAs where last year he made his very first television performance. The Latin musical star known for his authenticity and unparalleled style that has made him an undeniable cultural icon, is one of the most nominated artists of the night with 12 recognitions, including Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year, among others. In addition, emerging singer Gabito Ballesteros will deliver the TV premiere of his new hit “Lou Lou” and an electrifying performance of the song “El Boss.” With over 3.5 billion combined streams and multiple global chart-topping hits, this year he is up for two LATIN AMAs in the New Artist of the Year and Best Regional Mexican Artist categories.
This year, renowned Puerto Rican singer Farruko, winner of the 2016 LATIN AMAs Favorite Album of the Year award, is nominated for Best Pop Song and will take the stage to perform for the first time on television his latest release “Confía.” Two-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee and Latin urban star Jay Wheeler will be celebrating the release of his highly anticipated album “Música Buena Para Días Malos” with a world premiere performance. With his single “Historia” climbing the charts and the announcement of his upcoming U.S “TRAPPii” tour, Wheeler continues to be a driving force in Latin music.
In addition, singer-songwriter Yng Lvcas is set to make the TV debut of his chart-topping single “Jimmy Choo.” Lvcas is part of the group of artists revolutionizing the Latin music scene and is up for three Latin AMAs this year in the New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, and Best Urban Album categories. Hitmaker DJ Deorro will also be part of the show with a very special performance. The internationally renowned producer has become a cornerstone in the dance and Latin music scene thanks to his trendsetting musical style that is breaking cultural barriers around the world. Joining this lineup of groundbreaking performances is ultra-talented singer-songwriter Justin Quiles, who has cemented himself as one of the leading lyrical forces in urban music and has written for some of the biggest superstars within the genre. Quiles has been nominated in the past for the LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS and multiple Latin GRAMMY® awards.

Miami, FL. – 4 de abril de 2024 – La ceremonia de los LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS promete un extraordinario espectáculo con el anuncio de la primera lista de grandes figuras de la música que se presentarán durante la prestigiosa premiación. El DJ de fama mundial Deorro, el cantante puertorriqueño multiplatino Farruko, la estrella emergente Gabito Ballesteros, la voz romántica del genero urbano Jay Wheeler, el icono culturaldel momento Peso Pluma, el astro urbano Justin Quiles y el cantautor mexicano Yng Lvcas son los primeros nombres de artistas confirmados para presentarse durante la gala de los Latin AMAs que estará disponible para stream en ViX y se transmitirá en vivo por Univision, UNIMÁS y Galavisión el 25 de abril a partir de las 7p/6c desde el MGM Grand Garden Arena en Las Vegas.
La música mexicana estará bien representada con la superestrella del momento Peso Pluma, quien regresa al escenario de los LATIN AMAs donde el año pasado realizo su primera presentación musical televisiva. El originario de Guadalajara, cuyo estilo y autenticidad incomparable lo han convertido en un icono cultural, es uno de los artistas más nominados de la noche con 12 postulaciones entre las que se encuentran: Artista del Año, Nuevo Artista Del Año, Canción Del Año, Álbum Del Año y Colaboración Del Año entre otras. Además, Gabito Ballesteros, considerado uno de los fenómenos más destacados dentro de la música mexicana actualmente, estará por primera vez presentando en televisión nacional sus éxitos “Lou Lou” y “El Boss”. Ballesteros quien ha acumulado más de 3.5 mil millones de reproducciones combinadas, con múltiples colaboraciones en las listas de éxitos mundiales está nominado a dos LATIN AMAs: Nuevo Artista Del Año y Mejor Artista Regional Mexicano.
El cantante puertorriqueño Farruko quien está nominado a un galardón en la categoría: Mejor Canción Pop y fue ganador en el 2016 del premio Álbum Favorito del Año, llega a la tarima de los LATIN AMAs para presentar por primera vez en televisión su más reciente éxito “Confía”, además, su actuación contará con otra gran sorpresa para la audiencia.
