MIAMI –February 15, 2024– ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced today that its new romantic comedy, UN BUEN DIVORCIO premieres March 1. All ten episodes will be available starting on premiere day exclusively on the service’s premium tier. In addition, the first episode will be available on ViX’s free plan.
Starring Claudia Álvarez, Gustavo Egelhaaf, and Esmeralda Pimentel, the original series portrays the hilarious and heartwarming crisis of a couple of powerful divorce lawyers who will try anything to regain the love they once had, otherwise, they will lose everything they have built.
When Monica (Claudia Álvarez) decides to save her marriage, she turns to a couples therapist (Esmeralda Pimentel), unaware that she is precisely the person with whom her husband, David, (Gustavo Egelhaaf) had an affair the night before. With no other option than to have to attend the therapy, David begins to live a lie that is difficult to maintain, while Monica must hide her ghosts, financial fraud style, all while trying to keep her firm, her clients, and their relationship afloat for their two sons, Diego and Gael, twins who keep getting into trouble.
In addition, UN BUEN DIVORCIO presents in each episode different cases based on real life that the country’s leading divorce law firm will have to solve and that serve as the main thread of the entertaining plot in this high-stakes game of love and business.
Billy Rovzar and Erica Sanchez of Lemon Studios are executive producers of UN BUEN DIVORCIO. Rovzar is also the creator and showrunner of the series which is directed by Alfonso Pineda and written by Billy Rovzar, Alejandra Rodriguez, Andreu Castro, Pato Portillo, and Lisa Carreon.

Los diez episodios estarán disponibles desde el día del estreno exclusivamente en el nivel premium del servicio. Además, se podrá ver el primer episodio en el plan gratuito de ViX.
Protagonizada por Claudia Álvarez, Gustavo Egelhaaf y Esmeralda Pimentel, la serie original retrata la divertidísima y enternecedora crisis de una pareja de poderosos abogados de divorcio que intentarán lo que sea para recuperar el amor que un día tuvieron, de lo contrario perderán todo lo que han construido.
Cuando Mónica (Claudia Álvarez) decide salvar su matrimonio recurre a una terapeuta de parejas (Esmeralda Pimentel), sin saber que es justamente la persona con la que su esposo, David, (Gustavo Egelhaaf) tuvo un desliz la noche anterior. Sin más salida que tener que atender dicha terapia, David empieza a vivir una mentira difícil de mantener, mientras tanto Mónica debe ocultar sus propios fantasmas, de estilo fraude financiero, todo mientras tratan de mantener su firma, sus clientes y su relación a flote por sus dos hijos, Diego y Gael, unos mellizos que no paran de meterse en problemas.
Además, UN BUEN DIVORCIO presenta en cada episodio diferentes casos basados en la vida real que la principal firma de abogados de divorcio del país deberá resolver y que sirven de hilo conductor de la entretenida trama en este juego de alto riesgo de amor y negocios.
